Dr jolly is excellent. She takes time with you lIstens and has really great testing and figure out what I need. I have double vision and other issues and she handles them perfectly. Staff is great and I love Yolanda eye glass tech. She is the best.

Not a welcoming experience at all. Definitely would recommend going somewhere else and avoiding this place. Not sure about their pricing as it didn't get that far. Nice looking business but their attitude Definitely made me steer clear. The receptionist was maybe having a bad day, but the fact that you make a statement like, "not trying to push you away but it's gonna be $150" but in a condescending tone as if I would not be able to afford the services. Anyways you can get a way better deal and better treatment of service in other places.

I’m sorely disappointed in the receptionist that answered the phone today, my family have been going to the facility for years always with a great experience! I simply called to ask for my copy of my eye prescription to be emailed to me, the receptionist stated their email is not working??? And have no idea when it will be fixed? I then asked to speak with the office manager, she stated she won’t be in until next week? I then asked to speak with someone in charge there, well not to my surprise she stated no on is? What is going on with this place? Unfortunately My family will not be going back how sad that I can’t get a simple document and due to COVID going in was not an option for me.

The absolute best place I’ve ever dealt with for eye care and glasses. Every staff member is super pleasant, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.

This is a ‘gem’ of a place tucked amongst the ciaos of busy Vallejo. Everything one would expect in this “mom & pop shop” but on a highly professional level! I went there for the first time a few months ago, and the father performed my eye exam. He was so considerate and let me know what he was doing every step of the way. He called me by my first name, and I felt so truly valued as their customer. I didn’t want to have my eyes dilated for a test, so he asked his kind son (the other optometrists) to perform a state of the art test for glaucoma with a new portable scientific instrument that didn’t take the dilation of my eyes. After words, the wife/mother helped me pick glasses. There was a lot to choose from. She took her time and brought out many, many, many choices. She was so patient and seemed to have a genuine desire for me to be happy with my new glasses. She actually helped me pick a pair-that I am very happy with and have had a lot of compliments on! The temple of these new glasses got bent. I called and the office, and the son got me in right away. He took my glasses and spent a lot time to bring them back to new! If you want professional service, to be valued and a great place you can trust, I highly recommend Samuel S Chia, OD!

I absolutely love this place , the staff is very friendly and the Dr as well very respectful and professional, 10/10 would recommend this place for any eye care needs .

I have been going to Dr. Chia for 15 years. He is an amazing md and the office is a family run business. He explains in great detail his findings and has really helped me a lot. Amazing customer service.

The ophthalmologist did not explain the eye exam thoroughly. When I made comments about my eyes he remained awkwardly silent. Also, when I made the appointment the secretary informed me that it would cost $109 for both eye exam and contact lenses exam. However, he charged an extra $20 to dilate my pupils which he actually never did. He proceeded with the eye exam without dilating the pupils and I still had to pay the extra $20. I do not recommend this ophthalmologist to anyone.

Please note: I am only talking about the independent optometrist... The optical/glasses department are excellent. Very, very poor service. The doctor and the assistant. I was very specific with what I wanted from day 1. It ended up in a disaster. I will definitely be NOT going back there. Try it and you will understand what I'm talking about
