Dr. Patel, Dr. Findley and Dr. Ferguson, thank you for your exceptional care during my recent surgery. Your expertise and attention to detail made me feel confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Your dedication to your patients is truly remarkable. Your willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their well-being is greatly appreciated. Your kindness and empathy have made a significant impact on my recovery. I would give you 100 stars if I could. I would also recommend Commonwealth Eye Surgery to anyone.

My mother referred to Dr. Brown for eye bleeding. As a new patient had to fill out lots of paperwork but was seen shortly thereafter. Dr. Brown was excellent. Direct and to the point. Also arranged for me to see Dr. Ehrlich while there. Waited maybe 10 minutes. Dr. Erlich was excellent. Identified problem and explained options for treatment. Will definitely go back and will recommend this office.

We've been giving here for a long time but recently started bringing our kids. They do good testing and are willing to take the time to explain the good and bad results. I recommend doing the retina scan often. It's not standard but it's only a few dollars extra and one scan managed to catch a vascular issue I was having early. I was grateful for that.

I saw Dr. Stavn from the mid-1990s to 2014. He knows his stuff, but I stopped seeing him in 2014 because of how he treated me. I was unemployed and had to borrow money for new eyeglasses for my daughter and me. I asked him to keep the costs under the $1,100 I was borrowing. Not only did he NOT keep the costs under my loan, he charged me hundreds of dollars over that amount--$1,400 for one pair of contact lenses (that he never got right) and for two pairs of eyeglasses. And one of the frames I paid for was a sample frame, which his office staff said had been free.
I had to find the overage another way. Who needs groceries, right?
In 2019 I got our eye exams at CostCo, then bought FOUR pairs of eyeglasses from Zenni for under $400. That includes good-quality frames, special coatings, progressive lenses, etc.
Why did Dr. Stavn charge a thousand dollars more for so much less in 2014? Why wasn't he willing to accommodate my financial needs? Did he not understand what it means to be unemployed with no support? Why didn't he offer a discount for a long-time customer, or at least a payment plan? Is this terrible customer service normal? Did I just never notice before because I could afford him?
Whatever his reasons, I can't recommend him.

We had a wonderful experience with Tom and Janet. There was a mix-up with our appointments, but they took the time to make sure we were taken care of. I wish there was a bigger selection on frames, but the options were still good.

My star rating of 3 is for the owner. My rating for Paula and crew is 5!
I'm grateful for the outstanding service I've experienced at both Eye Trends Round Rock & Lakeline locations. The staff's professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional service are commendable. However, my concern lies in the absence of a backup plan for the single individual responsible for fulfilling eyeglass prescriptions, especially during their unavailability. In my view, it's imperative to expedite the training process for someone else to ensure continuity. If hiring a full-time or part-time employee isn't feasible, I strongly believe that considering a contract hire is a necessary step.

The eye exam services were fine, but they weren’t able to provide me the voucher for the contact lenses that they promised. I ended up losing around $500 because they wouldn’t get couldn’t to me about the voucher from acuvue even after I called their office multiple times. Would just recommend going to another office with more competent admin staff
