I was dreading my next DMV renewal as I knew I wouldn't pass the eye exam with my progressive cataracts. Went to Dr. Jay Bansal at LaserVue Eye Center in Santa Rosa for their Standard Cataract Surgery (covered by Medicare). He fixed both eyes and I now have 20/20 vision again! No floaters or other problems. Need half-moon reading glasses and a pair of computer glasses; otherwise my vision is perfect. And what a professional and friendly staff! Thank you, Dr. Jay!

I was told I could not have laser surgery on my eyes due to scarring on one eye, astigmatism and extreme myopia, but Dr. Bansal successfully removed the scarring and restored my vision to nearly 20/20. I literally cried with joy at the results. Dr. Bansal and his staff are kind, professional and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Bansal.

I saw Dr. Stavn from the mid-1990s to 2014. He knows his stuff, but I stopped seeing him in 2014 because of how he treated me. I was unemployed and had to borrow money for new eyeglasses for my daughter and me. I asked him to keep the costs under the $1,100 I was borrowing. Not only did he NOT keep the costs under my loan, he charged me hundreds of dollars over that amount--$1,400 for one pair of contact lenses (that he never got right) and for two pairs of eyeglasses. And one of the frames I paid for was a sample frame, which his office staff said had been free. I had to find the overage another way. Who needs groceries, right? In 2019 I got our eye exams at CostCo, then bought FOUR pairs of eyeglasses from Zenni for under $400. That includes good-quality frames, special coatings, progressive lenses, etc. Why did Dr. Stavn charge a thousand dollars more for so much less in 2014? Why wasn't he willing to accommodate my financial needs? Did he not understand what it means to be unemployed with no support? Why didn't he offer a discount for a long-time customer, or at least a payment plan? Is this terrible customer service normal? Did I just never notice before because I could afford him? Whatever his reasons, I can't recommend him.

If I could give him 0 star I would. Worst visit ever! He is very unprofessional and rude! I do not recommend going to Hollis Stavn. I should have known better after reviewing all his 1 star reviews on google and yelp! Terrible service!

Really upsetting experience here, even the front desk staff seemed uncomfortable with Stavn and apologized on his behalf; something I'm sure they need to do all the time in their clinic. I am a Medical patient and he seemed bothered by that, and not willing to give me the patient care I am entitled to as a human. He was rude and started off the appt questioning me, if "I really needed to be seen" to have an updated lens prescriptions. I left my appt not wanting to return to pick up my eyeglasses and I wouldn't have unless the ladies at the front desk weren't as nice as they were. He is a rude, inconsiderate person and I have not idea why he choose this profession. Glad he didn't get any money out of me. Would give him a negative review if I could.

Dr. Yalamanchi is an amazingly skilled and compassionate physician. While under her care for an autoimmune eye condition, I not only felt professionally cared for, but I was also treated with dignity, kindness and respect. Her passion for her speciality is made evident through her knowledgeable, thorough, and precise diagnosis. I am forever grateful.

I love Dr. Hayes! I've been seeing her for years, minus one year my insurance changed. During that time it became glaringly obvious how much better her level of service and care is compared to other places. Needless to say I'm back at her location and not going anywhere!

Dr. Hayes is AMAZING. I have a complicated optical situation, and she has done an amazing job fitting me with contact lenses that are more comfortable than any I have had in recent memory. She also took the time to explain everything about my condition to me in detail. Highly, Highly recommend her.

Not only is this place affordable but, they are all very nice and professional. I received my new glasses in less than a week! Best glasses and exam that I have had in years!
