Not only is this place affordable but, they are all very nice and professional. I received my new glasses in less than a week! Best glasses and exam that I have had in years!

Dr. Shipley provides very through exams and explains everything in detail. The office has a huge selection of frames and they’re very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone i know.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child and my mom brought me here. So I thought after 15+ years of coming here a review is due. I love this place but most of all, I love the people who work here. I’ve never left an appointment unhappy. I love that they explain my insurance benefits to me because to be honest, I don’t really care about that stuff until I need it LOL. They have quality frames at very different price points. I love that during my visits all of my questions are answered, my concerns are listened to and anything that has changed in my vision has been explained to me. When you’re in with a Shipley, you’re in good hands.

My recent experience was with a PVD that had torn my retina. Office and Dr. were both very responsive and got me access to specialist group immediately upon seeing the tear in my right eye. I haven't gotten my prescription updated yet so can't attest to that aspect but I'm grateful for the responsiveness thus far. Thank you.

Dr.Shieh was very thorough and explained everything clearly. I appreciated his willingness to answer questions and his pleasant manner.

Dr. Hall was very knowledgable and helpful in checking my refraction and getting the right prescription for my glasses. I have trouble focusing both eyes together and he suggested that I have a small amount of prism put in my lens prescription. What a difference that made. As soon as I put on the new glasses, my vision was clearer than it had been in 30 years.

I have seen Dr. Hall for over ten years. In the last two years I have had other eye coverage and have seen other local eye physicians. Today I returned to Dr. Hall because he is simply the best eye doctor I have ever had. He is thorough, kind and knowledgeable. He has helped me through some complicated eye problems. I trust him completely, because of his talent and ability. You will LOVE Dr. Hall. Go and be amazed!

Ever since I moved from the bay to NorCal, it has been hard to just show up at Target since it’s so far away. I needed my contacts and they shipped them for me :) I also needed my new lens but my order was from San Jose and SJ optical just took care of everything and I simply waited for the SR optical to call me when it was done. And through the whole process they were kind, helpful, patient and friendly. Thanks optical team!
