Reached out to Rey on Instagram asking if he thought he could customize prescription lenses for my Cartier Designer C frames. Rey was able to get the job done in a week and have them sent back over to me. Communication was stellar during the process and I will be returning soon with another pair of Custom rimless glasses. This is the professional you want doing your customizations on your delicate, expensive vintage frames. He is my go to guy from here going forward.

Get Your Fix Optics is the ONLY place to go for glasses repairs! They are super friendly, fast, and do an excellent job! They were so creative with their repair of my beloved Chanel sunglasses so I can continue enjoying them for years to come. The place where I originally bought them offered no solution but Get Your Fix Optics saved the day! I will only go there now and have recommended them to my family and friends!

Great selection and nice staff. I came in a couple of times with my two year daughter who was running around and making the entrance sensor go off (repeatedly)(!!). The staff was always nice and always very professional. At the time of my appointment the staff person that took care of me (can't remember her name) was super nice and helpful, she gave my daughter pens and paper to keep her entertained. I got my glasses in a week and I LOVE them!!! I will definitely be going back when I need to update my lenses!

Dr. Gatschet is awesome. He's very informative and provides an excellent educational experience as well as a thorough eye exam. I have been going to him for probably more than 5 years and he has always made sure that my eye care needs are always met.

I've seen Dr. Yap 2 years in a row and will continue to see her as long as I'm in the area! Her office is thorough and will pull up your insurance benefits before you come in so they can reference what is and isn't covered under your plan. She's friendly and patient with her exams and answering any questions that come up. The man who usually works the front desk seems to be a licensed optician so he can assist with glasses fittings if you want to walk in without an appointment to check out your options for frames. A great place to get your eyes checked!

Dr. Yap is simply the most competent optometrist I’ve ever found. It had been almost impossible to get me fitted for contact lenses at all previous optometrists. I sent years worth of contact lenses fitting record to Dr. Yap to analyze. She made a phone calls to a couple of manufacturers and boom, she found the perfect lenses for me, avoiding months of additional trial and error. She’s also thorough with navigating complex dual insurance policies. As for eye glasses, although there are only 3 walls of frames selection, which don’t seem much when you walk in, they are however EXACTLY what you need. At the beginning of the pandemic, when we had to be seen in isolation from other patients ; Dr. Yap hand selected about 6 pairs of eye glasses frames on a tray, and brought them to me. She knew exactly what would work well for my very wide and round face, and flat Asian nose. One of them was perfect (and the right price too). I didn’t need to return to make any fitting adjustments (I used to go to Winking Bee for frames thinking that they would have a wider selection, again because of the round face and Asian flat nose issue… but I wasted so much time there). You can trust Dr. Yap with your eye health needs, and it will be the most efficient use of your time (even if you might need to travel far to see her).

Dr. Yap is the most kind human in Belmont. She remembers me every time I come in. She is also the absolute best optometrist I have ever had. I've seen people randomly for about 20 years. She is so professional and obviously excellent in her craft.
