I just completed my second cataract surgery by Dr. Jones. Very hard to imagine how the process could have gone any better. Everyone at his office and the Sutter Health Capitol City Surgery Center we’re very professional and extremely efficient. Most importantly, the improvement in my vision is truly remarkable with colors far more vibrant and the ability to read street signs more clearly at a greater distance. I did my due diligence on Dr Jones and he did not disappoint. I give Dr. Richard Jones and the SHCC Surgery Center my highest recommendation.

CHUN DID NOT GET THE EYE PRESCRIPTION RIGHT. JENNY HAD TO REEXAMINE CARLS EYES. 3RD TIME.

So far I've had a great experience at this opticians office. Keep in mind this is not the optometry's office. The optometrist is located across the hallway with the ophthalmologist. I had a wonderful experience with Dr Grand, who is the optometrist. Really took his time to resolve my vision health issues with me. This is for the optical department. Excellent customer service. So far this is the best optical and optometrist office I've been to in many years. I've had horrible experiences elsewhere where people were rude and pushy. I worked with Jorge, an optician. Off the bat, when I first met him he gave me a printout on my prescription without my asking. He told me just in case I wanted to go elsewhere and get glasses. Most optical departments will not do that because they want you to purchase glasses with them. I probably tried on over a hundred frames And he was very patient working with me until I found just the right pair. Hopefully it'll work out when they come in. Trust me this place provides great service. Ask for Jorge.

Please get better about answering the phone. Or have set hours when we can make appointments by phone. Since every time I can always have to call so many times it is annoying to even be able to speak with someone. I love Dr. Tracy. Hope that this phone thing gets better. Make it easier for people to call please.

It’s not hyperbole to say this is the worst vision practice I’ve ever been to. The first words Dr. Peabody said when he entered the exam room was “Your vision missed the mark.” I had to ask him to elaborate, and he became rather annoyed. My vision isn’t great, and I was expecting a bit more knowledge and professionalism. I wish I hadn’t wasted time filling out the medical history paperwork, which they sent me in the mail and clearly didn’t read. I have a complicated history with my eyesight, which I explained to the receptionist over the phone. She recommended Dr. Peabody, and he was a huge disappointment. The nurse was also incredibly unhelpful. They say they have an automated appointment reminder system, but I never got a reminder. Thank goodness I set one on my phone. It doesn’t take 20/20 vision to see that this practice is subpar. A horrendous experience.

My mother had surgery for her cataracts here. And Although we were satisfied with the procedure and the follow up procedure to clear up some cloudiness that developed. They were clearly not following CDC guidelines given the recent Covid 19 pandemic! They scheduled so many people at the same exact time for surgery and my mother had to sit in the waiting room for over an hour waiting to go back. They are dealing with elderly people who are high risk for Covid 19 for the most part and should be spacing these surgeries out further apart!

Dr. Schauffele is an excellent optometrist working in a friendly, highly professional office. She is careful and patient, and she listens to what her patients say. She seems to be the only optometrist who can give me eye prescriptions that work. I had already purchased glasses elsewhere (that had to be remade using my new prescriptions from Dr. Schauffele); however, I have been very satisfied purchasing glasses here in the past.

Such a lovely experience going to this office for the first time. I had never had an eye exam before and the whole process was throughly explained to me and I felt comfortable every step of the way. Kind staff and Dr. Schauffele was excellent. Thank you!!

Dr Schauffele, Heidi, and staff were professional, personal, and caring to my husband and I during our visit. We were happy to chat with Dr Fleischman also. We wish them continued success.

Midtown Eyeworks Optometry is great. The selection of frames is really good for both glasses and sunglasses. My eye exam by Dr. Takeda was excellent and he is also very personable and kind. My frames were done faster than I was told, and I have had very positive interactions with all of the staff I have spoken with. Totally recommend!

Dr. Yee is exceptional and very personable. I've had problems with eyesight in my right eye for years and have been to several other optometrists during this time. None of them have been able to get me to a prescription I've been 100% pleased with. However, Dr. Yee was able to nail it the first time! And, I was trying progressives for the first time and when I put my new glasses on everything felt and looked great. I highly recommend Dr. Yee. I didn't give five stars only because when I picked up my glasses they were very busy and were able to give very little time to help adjust my glasses. I went to a different optometrist office closer to my home later that afternoon to get them readjusted. Not their fault at all, but there were few people to assist as this office is quite popular. Also, what I like about this office is that everyone is very kind and friendly, and they take cleanliness seriously which I appreciate. When you arrive you wash your hands in the bathroom and when you try on glasses you don't put them back on the shelf, you put them in a bin to be cleansed.
