I went in for a free consultation to see if I would be a good candidate for Lasik and Dr. Greeley was great! He was knowledgeable and gave me good information. He was genuine and cared about my overall eye care. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Gray was fast, thorough and made our visit fun. He didn't make our visit longer than it needed to be, but I also didn't feel rushed or unimportant. He made the exams fun for both my kids and was cracking jokes left and right. The girl who helped me pick my frames was super sweet and also didn't rush me. She picked a few styles and helped me narrow down my options. We will definitely be going back next year.

I don't usually write reviews but I had a disappointing experience. First when I scheduled an appointment the person was not very nice. It felt like I was annoying or bothering them for even calling. Even though they were booked out a few months I scheduled. A few days before my appointment I was sent a confirmation email that I confirmed with. Then they called me multiple times to confirm, but I work very long days and have a hard time finding breaks throughout the day, and it's very hard for me to call back or answer until after business hours. So I confirmed through the email again, and also sent an email through their website with my insurance information because they said they needed it before the appointment which I totally understand. I also explained in the email that my preferred contact method is email or text because of my work schedule. But then the day before the appointment they left me a voicemail stating that they had to cancel it because they hand't heard from me. I had to leave the middle of an appointment at work to call back and try to explain that I had indeed tried to contact them back, multiple times. They basically said too bad and cancelled my appointment that I had been waiting months for. Maybe next time they can get insurance information when scheduling, or try to confirm the appointment/get insurance info more than just a few days before the actual appointment. Some people's schedules need a little longer than 2 days to reply if they're not available during their business hours. Or figure out their email confirmation as it seems like someone else that reviewed also had a similar problem. Very frustrating.

Dr. Kawata is fantastic as is his office staff. Always friendly and on time. Wish I would have found him sooner. He took time to ask me questions before making a decision on what type of contacts/glasses would suit me best. He's the best eye doctor I've ever had! Wish I could still see him..but I now live out of state :( I want to note about the 1-star review stating 'overdone face'. I don't understand what that's about and what exactly has to do with Optometry??? I assure you, Dr. Kawata's face is fine!

Since moving to Bakersfield to a Oxnard, I had to find an optometrist. Dr. Castillo and her staff are fantastic. Professional, polite, and caring. I not only had an eye exam and wellness exam. I also had a contact exam by the time I walked out of her office. I had the perfect fit of contacts in my eyes and was seeing 20/20. Thank you Dr. Castillo and staff I would recommend Dr. Castillo as an optometrist If you’re looking for excellent eye care and I give her office more than five star, I give her a 10 star rating if I could. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The doctor and staff are so friendly and supportive. They were able to squeeze me and my son and for a last minute appointment. Definitely a must visit for the best service in town.

Efficient. I was a little bummed to hear that the doctor explained more to my partner who had an appointment after me about his eyes and what the pictures indicated and it just seemed to be more comprehensive. His eyesight is far superior than mine. Otherwise the folks who helped me picked my lens were awesome and made the experience super enjoyable!

Always available when I need them! Had an eye infection, took me very quickly. Needed an adjustment to my glasses, which I had dropped. Did a perfect job first time, and added new nose pieces too. The annual exam is always so thorough, and the results so spot on. Can’t say enough about this place.

I have faith in her as a doctor. She is very intelligent and knows what she is doing. Trustworthy, compassionate.

I saw Dr. Bowman last Friday at my ophthalmologists office because of some problems going on in my right eye. He explained the issues in an easy way where you’re able to understand it. He’s very caring about his patients and explains the treatment where you’re able to understand it but also listens to all your questions and concerns. today I visited his Fort Worth office to finalize the treatment plan. The office is really clean and everyone is really nice. From the front desk to the very back. i’m feeling pretty comfortable for this upcoming surgery just over a month from now. The IV sedation along with the numbing eyedrops should make it a really positive experience because you’re very nice relaxed and comfortable and you’re really sleepy and in La La Land and probably don’t remember much at all. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Bowman to all my family and friends.
