I have been seeing Dr. Betsy Nguyen for over 15 years for my Acute Glaucoma treatment. I was transferred there from UCLA Jule Stein Institute. She has always been warm, professional and taken personal interest in my care. Her exams are thorough, Dr. Nguyen and her staff have always been courteous and kind. She always explains the diagnosis, treatment plan, alternatives very clearly. I am very grateful for her care. Her office is always clean, waiting area is comfortable and staff is very helpful.

Staff is supportive, pleasant, efficient, and professional. The optometrists were great during follow-ups (responsive and thorough). Dr Marvasti that performed my surgeries is a miracle worker and very pleasant to meet with. Coastal Vision medical group is top tier and easily the best run medical group I have worked with.

Dr. Sami is amazing with my boys!! He is always making us laugh with his jokes and knows how to distract my babies while he does his job. Appointments are fast and painless. One doctors office this mom does not need to stress about beforehand.

Dr. Sami is one of the best Ophthalmologists! He's great with kids, my son (13) and daughter (11) love going to see Dr. Sami for their annual check up. His office staff is very friendly and helpful!

I love Doctor Sami and his staff. They are very helpful and friendly. Dr. Sami is the 4th peds ophthamologist that I saw in regards to my child's eye issue and Dr. Sami finally got to the root of the issue. I was super happy!

Ridiculous lack of communication. I played phone tag for a month to try and get an appointment, I finally get a call back trying to schedule me on a days notice. I take the appointment on pressure of maybe not getting in contact with them again but have to cancel because we couldn’t end up moving things around. Call to cancel and reschedule, no pickup again (big surprise). Get a call two weeks later asking for $50 rescheduling fee. So infuriating that it’s laughable. I set up an appointment at CHOC instead, got everything handled on one call, first time.

Dr. Whang was the most patient, kind, knowledgeable optometrist we ever could’ve hoped for. She immediately made my daughter feel comfortable which was huge. The ladies that helped up get in same day we’re so sweet & understanding. Highly recommend Dr. Whang to anyone! My 6 year old says she’s “the best doctor ever!”

I needed to make appointment for my daughter, but they are not answering the phone all day and also other days too. It is really hard to make appointment with them. I wish I have other pediatric optometrist near me.

Overall great experience and great customer service my nurse named Karen was very nice and helpful made me feel very comfortable , recommended for everyone who is looking for laser eye surgery !!

It definitely was a wonderful experience, they were very Profesional, and very informative they explained the different procedures and which was the best one for me. I will definitely will recommend it to my friends.
