Staff is incompetent. Over the past 2 months I have tried to call and it always went to voice mail. I left multiple messages to reschedule one of the surgeries. No one responded. Told a person who called to tell me how much I owe and then another to tell me what time the surgery is that I did not get the prescription. They said they would check it out. NOTHING! The pharmacy called. No response. Then they told me that the prescription wasn't really needed anyway. Now they want me to pay $407 because they can't get my Medicare supplement Gap policy right. Have cancelled all surgeries. Going to find another Eye doctor. This whole journey has been extremely stressful and I don't need the stress. Stress triggers my uclerative colitis and that's the last thing I need. If they had negative stars I'd give them negative stars.

Dr. Smith is kind and compassionate. I really appreciate that! But for a normal appointment, with no dilation, it unnerves me that we were there for 1 hour and 40 minutes. That just is not acceptable!

Extremely competent and compassionate surgeon, co-workers and staff! My husband went to him for a second opinion and found that the first doctor had diagnosed my husband wrongly. I was very impressed.

Highly skilled/the best surgeons you will find! Don't bargain shop when it comes to your eyes. Get the best care! Dr. Pirnizar saved my eyes. Very good man and the staff too. My intacs procedure went smoothly and he made me feel calm and relaxed during the procedure. I will never seek to go anywhere else.

Don't use any Firstsight Vision Service locations anywhere, they're terrible. After getting progressive glasses and contacts of which I can't see out of either, I've wasted over $600 (exam co-pay, contact lens fitting, contacts and glasses). They offered a recheck of my vision only but not for the contacts. Since they're doctors are independents the one I saw overbooked and had no additional help and is no longer at the Sam's club or Firstsight so you're pretty much SOL if they don't get it right. I was told I'd need to go back to the original doctor which is no longer with them and couldn't they tell me where she could be located. Why would I go back if she couldn't get it right the 1st time. Don't risk your eye sights to these hacks. It was the worst and dirtiest experience. Dust and hair on the counters, no chin guards on the equipment and only one bottle of saline solution for everyone to use to test the sample contacts. Really? Go to a reputable eye care center not a low cost, low budget, with no customer service to correct the problem.

This place is TERRIBLE. I have had nothing but problems with them. First they refused to give me the brand I asked for and that I use regularly. The. When I convinced them to give them to me the doctor gave me something other than my prescription because "it won't make a difference." Well, it has. I am here YET AGAIN to get the correct contacts. I will NEVER give them my business again.

California Vision Center is absolutely fantastic. The office is so clean and Dr Jana Chen does an amazing job to ensure that her practice is complies with COVID guidelines (thank you for still requiring masks Dr Chen!). I feel so safe, comfortable and confident being treated here. Dr Chen is also extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. She takes the time to describe to you everything that she is doing and answers any questions you have. The office staff here is extraordinary and will spend lots of time helping you pick out the perfect pair of glasses for you. I absolutely love coming here and I am so grateful for the work you do.

Great service! We have been getting our glasses here for years and never had any problems. My kids have really bad eyes, and Dr. Chen always takes her time in checking them and "nagging" them about things they do that can ruin their vision. She is very honest with her opinions. If my glasses don't need to be replaced, she will tell me so instead of making me buy more glasses. Some places are all about the money, but I feel like this doctor actually cares about our eyes.

BEWARE - I stopped here, they had lovely glasses, the exam went very smoothly. The problem I had was that I travel extensively. I was out of town when I received the call my glasses were ready - only to discover that the caller failed to leave a return phone number or even name of the business!!! What????? I was going to be gone another two weeks with no contact information left on the message. WHAT BUSINESS DOES THIS??? Normally we're inundated with company names, telephone numbers, etc. Try to return a call from a phantom business - it took me two hours to contact them. When I finally contacted them, they said they don't leave their name or number in voicemails. HUH???? DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE!!

I'm so glad I switched to Target Optical, especially this location. The whole process was very smooth. From the eye exam to ordering glasses to contacts training to picking up my glasses/contacts, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I especially want to highlight how patient and caring Patricia was while doing my contacts training. It was my first time ever putting in contacts, and she made me feel very comfortable as I struggled to put the first one in. She reassured me that it was normal and helped me correct what I was doing wrong. I really appreciated her help and would highly recommend this location for any optical needs!
