Been coming here with my family for over 6 years. Friendly staff, clean environment and gives great prices for glasses with accommodations if you’re paying out of pocket.

I don’t usually leave reviews, however I thought the level of excellence at coastal vision deserved a write up. I am so impressed with my experience. The staff went above and beyond and were extremely personable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes.

It was an amazing experience from the minute I entered the office. I was extremely scared. The front desk made me feel so comfortable and help me with the forms. A young man came and got me. He was the technician who would do my eye check up. I explained to him that I’ve had two back surgeries that didn’t go well. He made sure I was able to get up and down and he helped me with my chair and he made sure I stood up easily . He was very kind. Then to see Dr Marvasti. He also did a thorough eye, check up and explained the entire procedure to me. I told him I was an anxious person, and he assured me everything would be fine that there would be an anesthesiologist there, and I could be twilight. Last stop was with the scheduler she also was kind and explained everything to me. What I needed to do what paperwork I needed to fill out. She gave me the dates so I could choose. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I left there extremely comfortable. Thank you so much Monya Kramer

Very spacious, clean exam rooms, friendly staff and technicians. Dr Tran was super sweet! I was quite impressed by the state- of- the art technology of the equipment. I was very pleased to be a new patient and looking forward to my next visit.

I’ve been going to this Optometry office for years. Dr. Shawn Yamamoto is very knowledgeable. He addresses all your questions and concerns. He also makes the experience as pleasant as possible. He is a true professional. I’m grateful for the extra effort he makes to make sure your leaving a satisfied client. Matt, at the front desk. Has been there for years. It’s a comforting feeling to See a familiar face - greet me once I walk in the door. Matt really acknowledges you and he actually remembers returning clients. Today I walked out with a temporary pair of contacts. And will be returning in 10 days to pick up my prescription. Thank you Long Beach Optometry for helping me “see clearly “.

I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time, and it's long overdue. Working in the neighborhood for nearly 9 years, I only discovered their office just 2 years ago. I seriously wish I had known about them earlier! Dr. Yamamoto is awesome. Each visit, he is thorough, genuinely caring, and especially attentive to my eye needs, given that I spend long hours working on the computer. And to not forget about Matt, who brightens up the place with his warm welcomes. From the moment you step through the door, he ensures you feel welcomed and makes the process even easier. I can't recommend this place enough, they are the best!

Terrible service! My spouse is upset with his glasses. The prescription is too strong. And when he went to pick up his frames for a fitting, they did not even try to properly fit him. They never offered to sit him down and shape and place his frames correctly, they didn’t even provide a contact lens case. He is upset. This is poor negligent service. Do not go here.

I give this five stars because from the beginning to end my experience was great. It'll be my first set of glasses and I'm really excited to get them and start wearing them. Thank you ladies at the front desk for being nice and polite. I told the doctor that I would give him five stars, so here I am :) .

Worst experience ever. I called to make an eye exam appointment and was asked if I have insurance, I said I would pay cash. They asked repeatedly for insurance in order to schedule an appointment. Unbelievable, denied service for wanting to pay cash. I ask to speak with the person in charge, she hangs up on me. I call back and they won't answer the phone. With so many choices of optometrist in the area I don't need to be treated this way.

I'm very happy with SoCaleye, my first time there, very impressed with their organized process, since the minute you stepped into the office all the way to the moment Dr Pasquali check the eyes, and he takes the time to explain the findings on my eyes and what it needs to be done on the following appointment. The team is very courteous and friendly. I definitely will recommend to family and friends.
