Getting my LASIK surgery done at the Orange County LASIK institute has been a great experience. I could had gone to a different location and had my insurance cover most of my cost but decided to do it here and pay out of pocket due to the great service and results they provide. My girlfriend also had her surgery done here 2 years ago and is still seeing better than ever. The staff provides excellent care and thoroughly explains the process and procedure. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Wakabayashi is very nice and knowledgeable. He throughly answered all the questions I had.

The eye exam was quick, and the doctor was kind and helped me figure out my prescription without issue. She also answered any questions I had. They had the contacts I needed already there, so I didn't need to come back later to pick them up. As a heads up, the retinal scan was more expensive than I anticipated (although it is optional and dilation is still an option) and there was a charge for a contacts exam (which is also optional, but is separate from a glasses exam which was covered by my insurance) Overall, it was a good experience, and I plan to continue coming here for my vision needs in the future.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Wu's for a couple of years now. He has severe myopia and has been wearing Ortho K lenses since he was 8 years old. Dr. Wu is a trained specialist in these lenses. She diligently monitors my sons vision. He no longer needs glasses or contacts during the day. I have also recommended my dad to this office and he has seen Dr.Gun. Dr. Gun recognized my dad needed cataract surgery and recommended us to an appropriate surgeon. The rest of the office staff is friendly and professional. We recommend Spectrum Optometry to all our friends and family.

I've been a patient of Dr. Wu and Mr. Peter Wu for close to 20 years and have nothing but the highest praise and gratitude for this business and it's owners. I've always felt truly cared for and have been treated with immense respect and kindness even in difficult circumstances, as well as helped quickly even when they were very busy or I had complex time constraints. Thanks to their constant professionalism and outstanding, personalized care, I've stayed a patient even while living 12+ years overseas, coming as often as my visits allowed. Over the years, I've noticed how they place a high value on having the latest diagonostic tools and technology to assess the whole eye health. As a younger person I didn't always fully understand how valuable that was until a whole eye health exam a few years ago caught something very serious in the early enough stages to actually do something about it and thus gave me time to get help and keep my independence, ablity to drive and ablity to work. I highly recommend Spectrum Optometry and Dr.Wu and it's an added bonus knowing I am supporting a locally owned establishment that cares so much for its community.

Everyone is super friendly here. Dr. Jwo and his assistant Jen are awesome. They explained everything, went over all of my options and helped me to make an informed decision. Even on surgery day, Dr. Jwo made sure I was comfortable and explained everything. I am extremely impressed with my entire experience and will definitely recommend Dr. Jwo to anyone needing his expertise.

This was my first time here and it was a great experience. The check in office lady was great, friendly and helpful. Dr Jwo’s assistant Lily was great and friendly. Dr Jwo was outstanding he put me at ease, fully explained everything and made sure I had no questions unanswered. Everyone was so friendly and nice. The exam was thorough and complete. This was a good experience, I highly recommend their office and people.

Dr. Jwo and his staff were exceptionally mindful of my need for safety measures and patient distancing given a depressed immune system. So appreciated! Dr. Jwo was thorough, affable, and gave me solid info and a gameplan as I move forward. Top notch experience.

“I had been eagerly awaiting my mom’s appointment with Dr. Ramin Tayani for two months, only to be met with extreme unprofessionalism and disregard for our time. Our original appointment was rescheduled due to an emergency surgery, which inconvenienced me greatly as I had to adjust my work schedule. We arrived promptly at 9:45 AM for our 10 AM appointment, but the doctor didn’t show up until 11:15 AM. It was evident that he was mot still in the office To make matters worse, his behavior was completely unacceptable – he was chewing gum and sloppy looking. Feeling frustrated and disrespected, I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay. Instead of addressing our concerns, Dr.Tayani told us that he was at the beach and that we were welcome to leave. It was clear that our time and the inconvenience we experienced were of little importance to him. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed by Dr. Tayani Waiting for almost two hours beyond our scheduled appointment time, only to be treated with such indifference, is completely unacceptable. As a patient who had waited for months for this appointment, I expected better treatment and respect for our time. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Tayani left us without any examination or assistance, wasting our time and effort. I strongly advise others to reconsider seeking care from Dr. Amin tayani , as his unprofessional behavior and disregard for patients’ time and well-being are deeply concerning.”
