I went in for my exam and they were crowded very busy. But the staff was very helpful and had offered to help me find some glasses today, but do to my schedule i didnt have time. They are all very polite and professional and I will go back to pick some glasses out soon.

Disappointed on the 2 ladies that helped us first. Not very helpful with attitudes until the black woman with very good customer service skills initiated to help us. We almost walk out but thanks to the one that helped us, Wife and I were very happy with her. Doctor was great as well. Recommended but they need to do something about the other customer service representatives.

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Very busy storefront with a lot of traffic. It is very impressive how the staff stays not only kind but organized. Dr. Hene was amazing and answered all my questions as well! Keep up the great work and thank you for your care!

I was helped by a very kind man by the name of Evan. He was very patient and very helpful in getting me two orders of contacts. My mother had many questions as well but he handled everything with patience and reassurance. Great customer service skills! Thank you Evan! We were also helped by store manager Jonathan who helped fix a problem my mother had with her glasses. He went the extra mile to help out. Overall great management and employees!

The exam was very thorough and complete. The front office is a complete mess. When I went to pick up my glasses, the associate is rummaging through various drawers looking for them. The first order was wrong- reading glasses were made in place of distance glasses and each time I went into the store, the associate would spend 10 minutes looking for something on a tablet.
Really lousy experience.

I’ve been a patient/customer of this location for 10+ years. The doctor is great, he’s friendly and very thorough with his exams. The staff Jonny and Ann at the front desk were great too. They helped me pick out a great pair of glasses. In fact I picked out the same Gucci frames as Jonny. I always look forward to getting my yearly eye exam.

I had been going to Dr Crawford for about four years now and really liked him until a couple of days ago. If you want to go to a eye care center that is not customer focused, does not take the time to call you back and does not help you out with solutions then go to the Eye Care Center of Lake County. Not only did they not help me with a situation they had the nerve to send me a letter asking me to find another Eye Doctor. This facility makes you wait for hours and the staff is rude. They also have an awful phone system. I do not recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Crawford for 19 years. First when the location was in Waukegan and now for some time in the Vernon Hills location. I have had no issues with the service there ever. He is quite knowledge about the way the market is changing with manufacturing contacts and since I am an engineer I always enjoy debating between brands and the right contacts for me.
I have read some of the reviews and people are right about one thing this place gets busy to the point it is just insane. I was there two weeks ago to pick up contacts right before they closed and there was still a dozen people in there waiting.

Went in for an eye exam for the purpose to see if I could get lasik surgery. I was told the refractive test is an extra $55. Then when I get done they want $274 up front for the “new patient exam” and that I would be reimbursed “only” if insurance covers it. You mean to tell me you charge your patients full price for services and THEN submit to insurance...so shady. I was not told any of this before hand, this was totally ridiculous and would have never went if I had known.

I had a 10/10 experience at this place and I am happy that I ended up coming here. I initially came because I needed an eye exam for an infection and they were the only place close that had an opening. I then decided to get two pairs of glasses (one sun; one regular).
Every time I came in I had a great experience. Me and Tony bonded over concerts, music, and other personal similarities. He seems like a genuine guy and was very helpful. The doctors were also very sweet and helpful both times I was in. I will continue to come back if need be.
