The office is very professional, has the highest tech equipment, is very efficient and it has a friendly atmosphere. Dr. Bowen is highly educated and is recommended and respected by other eye professionals in the Greater Phoenix (Gilbert -Mesa) area. After my cataract surgery I can see clearly now! Dr. Bowen also treats my wife's glaucoma with her surgery scheduled in January.

Dr. Bowen is always friendly and professional. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about his patients. Excellent office.

My cataract surgery/glaucoma therapy was an exceptional experience. I had virtually no waiting time and the front office staff, the nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr. Bowen were outstanding and very professional. The procedure was an elegant example of state of the art medicine. The results thrilled me beyond words. I wish I had not put it off. Colors are beautiful again and my sight is clear. Thank you all. Dr Scanameo was so good at explaining the difference lenses, and what was best for ME ...helped me realize my expectations, and to be realistic with those expectations, with cataract surgery. The Dr Sarcemoa was great! He hardly sees kids but he made exception for my daughter. He was informative and kind. Thank you. The office staff-red head Emmerson. Unsure of name was absolutely rude. From a patient experience she was short mouthy and spewed attitude. You could visibly see the other office members were disturbed by her as well. She had 0 background on the issue I was working with another ladyo on with insurance card. They require physical card. Its 2023 everything is digital and hardly carry card anymore. So she advised I could pay cash. Why would I do that when I have insurance. It just required me pulling it up and emailing which for whatever reason bothered her. My 10yr old is in remission from Leukemia. Getting her to walk into dr offices is a struggle. Before you decide to be mouthy and short-sighted your customers consider how far and different our experience would have been if you showed patience and understanding or helpb your co worker look up the info instead of making her feel like she was annoying you. After our visit at Dr office I let the Dr know what poor customer service we had up front and they did not at all seem shocked. Get rid of the issue before you lose patients.

HAVING THE NEED FOR CATARACT SURGERY I WAS GIVEN MY APPT BY THE VA DUE TO BACK LOG , I AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE HAD MY SURGERY DONE BY DR.MICHAEL J SCANAMEO, M.D.,.F.A.A.S AND IRINA ANDRUSHENKO, O.D.,M.A.,F.A.A.O THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL IN ALL THE EYE EXAMS AND APT'S THAT WERE MADE WERE ALWAYS ON TIME NO OVER LOADED THAT IS ALWAYS GREAT WHEN THE FLOW OF PEOPLE DOES NOT GET BOGED DOWN. DR SCANAMEO MADE EVERY THING EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND I FELT VERY CONFIDENT IN HIS EXPERTISE THE SURGERY MIGHT HAVE TAKEN 15 MIN BUT I DO NOT THINK SO, JUST RELAX AND LOOK AT THE LIGHT HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND NEVER ANY DISCOMFORT OR PAIN, THE ONLY PAIN IN THOSE DARN EYE DROPS...A GREAT PLACE TO GO SO YOU CAN SEE RIGHT AGAIN, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DESERT VISTA EYE SPECIALIST PC RESPECTFULLY RICHARD BAKER 12/05//23

Appointment was at 1:00pm and was seen by optometrist at almost 1:50pm. The person ahead of me was taken back at 1:20pm. Not sure if that is how the appointments work or they were just over booked for only one optometrist working that day. Over all was there for 2 hours. Good visit overall just long initial waiting time.

Everyone was very pleasant. The Dr. Was very sweet and she took her time to answer any questions I had. I would recommend her to anyone who needs an eye dr.
