Don't like waiting on hold for 20 minutes and then getting an answering machine during business hours. Congratulations on being so busy that you don't need new customers.

The Dr was great! Some of the employees in the store however are so horrible, untrained and rude. I waited over a week to get a call back from the “manager.” An employee (female) called me and these were her words exactly “and of course he didn't do his supposed to so I do good and now they should be all ready to be ordered and everything.” (Which I have recorded) I am definitely not happy with this location and will most likely never go to another America’s WORST. Kolby or Colby was the best employee in getting me the guidance I needed.

The more I thought about what happened the more up set I felt. I knew it would be more than $79 but $269 and the frames I got were fairly inexpensive. So Im not sure what happened I'm a trusting person and I feel honestly is the best way to conduct busines apparently America's best contacts don't feel that way. My advice is to stay clear of the that place.

The employee “Garrett” was completely disrespectful and rude to my wife and I during our visit. He was unwilling to help or listen and even made a comment about our insurance: “it’s a problem because it’s budget insurance, that’s why nothing works” and proceeded to walk away. Garrett is the reason why I will not be returning.

Wasted my 2hrs and gave me 3 different prices for a glasses exam. Screw yrself for hiring incompetent staffs. Go back & get a GED

November 2023 Updated Review (3 Stars) As mentioned in other reviews, Dr. Luis Lu retired some time after November 2022. Happy for Dr. Lu, but very sorry to see him go. I’ve had a few phone interactions with Petelin Vision, and none came close to the 5 star service received when they were Eye Consultants of Arizona. Long hold times, messages not returned, and a nonchalant attitude when you actually speak to a human being. Reminds me of BDPEC where you’re little more than a number. 3 stars as doctors might be okay, but poor front office service has prompted me to search for a new ophthalmologist. November 2022 Review (5 Stars) Dr. Luis Lu/Eye Consultants of Arizona is a great example of how a medical practice should operate. A live person answers the phone and everyone is greeted with a smile. The front office staff and techs are professional, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Luis Lu is warm and kind, and takes time to explain results and treatment options thoroughly. Appointment wait time was minimal, I was neither rushed nor treated like a number, and I believe they value me as a patient. I am thoroughly impressed with Dr. Lu and Eye Consultants of Arizona and highly recommend this practice. Dr. Lu is out of network on my insurance, but I chose to pay cash to be treated by Dr. Lu. By far the best experience I’ve had with a medical practitioner in years!

When we arrived there were around 20 people in the waiting room and virtually no vacant seats. New patients arrived faster than those waiting were seen and few left. When a seat opened patients jockeyed for a spot. Among those waiting were two in wheel chairs, one with a cane and I believe another with a walker. I have no problem standing but some of the eldery patients would. Noting that our appointment was already 15-20 past and most of those waiting were there when we arrived, I asked the over burdened receptionist when we could expect to be called and saw her scan past at 6-8 names to reach us. I was politely told that there was only one doctor. It seemed apparent that it would take hours to attend to all of those who were waiting. To my shame, I expressed my dismay to receptionist who clearly wasn't responsible for the log jam and inconvenience to the patients. My wife, who is much kinder and than I, ushered me out the door and chastised me for being rude. I can't imagine any other business that could keep customers waiting like that. It seemd that ther goal was to see as many patients as possible rather than provide the best health care to them. We won't be back but I owe the receptioinst and apology.

I’m a regular and couldn’t be happier with the expert care I receive. My eyesight is extremely important and I wouldn’t trust anyone but the very best to help me care for it! Dr. Depenbusch has an excellent staff. Very thorough and knowledgeable. The Dr is truly the best!

Front office staff person abrupt and did not want to help. Doctor okay but did not answer questions carefully and walked away while talking to me. I asked for a copy of my eye prescription and they want to charge $50.00 extra for that. I have never heard of this policy. I will never go back here-nothing special. Further, the prescription paper with my vision results should be part of the visit. My insurance is covering this visit.

The employees are friendly, courteous and professional. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Dr. Depenbusch is very knowledgeable and encourages his patients to ask questions. His building blends well with the architecture … More

If you are looking for a new eye doctor please go see Dr. Teresa Lam. She takes her time to explain what is going on with your eyes. They have the best medical equipment to do testing. The staff are really nice. Good selection of new frames. The best eye doctor I have been to and I have been wearing glasses for 30 years. Highly recommend if you have a dry eye problem.
