Great customer service

I saw Dr. Goldberg in her Mineola office twice within 3 weeks' time span for a headache and intermittent vision loss. She examined my eyes twice, and claimed there's nothing wrong. On her clinical notes from the last visit, she did not take heed of alarm symptoms, described my condition as a low priority, and referred me to a neuro-ophtalmologist with two months' wait time. Three days later, I ended up in a hospital with optic nerve damage and permanent partial vision loss due to the missed diagnosis, because optic disc edema was not noticed 3 days before the permanent vision loss - even though the symptoms persisted for more than a month, and massive swelling was detected at the hospital. She failed to record photographs of the eyes, leaving only written notes (which were incorrect) of the appointment. Stay away from this doctor. Negligent!

I have been a patient of OCLI for about 31/2 years now, primarily with Dr. Gerard D'Aversa and also with Dr. Mariani, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the doctors and the overall practice! Every staff member is focused on you, as the patient, and goes out of their way to accommodate you and help put you at ease. Thank you all for your professionalism, patience and care.

Dr. Donnerfield was friendly, caring and professional. He explained the procedure in lay man's terms and was very reassuring. I was really nervous to get this done and Dr. Donnenfeld and his team really helped to keep me calm and comfortable and trusting of the process. Everyone in the office is professional, kind and patient. Never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment. I would recommend this place and doctor to everyone.

After having my cataract surgery I recently went to OCLI and was super impressed, probably my best experience ever at an optometrist. Dr. Dana Morschauser-Bruno and her staff were all super friendly and welcoming, and it was the quickest yet most thorough exam I've ever had. She was pleasant and did a good job explaining my surgery results and how my eyes looked. The whole office was very organized too so that I would highly recommend it for sure.

I highly recommend Dr. James Kelly and Kelly Laser Center for LASIK laser correction surgery. I had been wearing glasses for over 15 years, and I was tired of the hassle of having to worry about them. I was also concerned about the long-term effects of wearing contacts. After doing some research, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Kelly. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Kelly and his staff. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to answer all of my questions. Dr. Kelly explained the LASIK-Contoura procedure in detail, and he made me feel confident that it was the right choice for me. The procedure itself was quick and painless. I was a little nervous at first, but Dr. Kelly and his staff put me at ease. I was able to see clearly immediately after the procedure, and my vision continued to improve over the next few days. I'm now only 1 week post-surgery, and I'm so happy that I had the procedure. My vision is 20/15, and I no longer have to worry about glasses or contacts. I can't recommend Dr. Kelly and Kelly Laser Center enough for giving me back my eyesight. 100 percent worth the investment and already a life changer. If you're considering LASIK / Contoura laser correction surgery, I highly recommend Dr. James Kelly and Kelly Laser Center. You won't be disappointed!

Dr. Kelly and the entire staff at Garden City are amazing and friendly. They are all quick, efficient, warm, and comforting. The LASIK procedure was actually done in 2021, however, I still go back for annual check ups. The staff treat you like family and the environment is great overall. My eyes are better than perfect at 20/15 vision. Side effects, such as dryness, that come with LASIK are gone as of 2023. I'd highly recommend Dr. Kelly and his team!

I just got Lasik with Dr. Kelly and the whole experience was perfect. Unlike other doctors who leave you sitting in waiting rooms forever and leave you feeling like you're just a dollar sign to them, this is a completely different experience. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful, they see you promptly, they explain everything super well. And the surgery itself ... I was very nervous but they put me right at ease through the entire process. I am hard to impress but I give them an enthusiastic five stars.
