Without doubt, this is (one of) the most expensive opticians in Boulder. They charge full retail for their frames, while the industry standard is half of that. A scam?! I think that most people here would happily pay a premium for quality services, but VANTAGE VISION falls short is every single category. They quote prices they do no fulfill. They seem unable to measure for glasses, because in my experience the lenses have been completely wrong 4 times! They don't now anything at all without looking it up or asking the owner/boss, who is rarely ever available. (super-cheap labor, right?) They do not adjust your glasses when you ask them to, unless you pay them for it! They take at least 6 weeks to deliver glasses (in the age of same day glasses) that they promise you will take 1-week! I love to support small business, but people like the owner of Vantage don't even come remotely close to meeting any standards of customer service and HONEST BUSINESS OPERATIONS.

I enjoyed going in to my appointments to see Dr. Dryden. She has done a really great job on all of my appointments, and her, and her nurses' are really nice to their patients.

The $30 additional charges are just a way to make extra money. The place is run down and dirty.

Dr Marcus may be a good doctor but my mother was given an surgery time of 10:15 am along with 5 others waiting for the 10:15 appt. she finally went in at 12:30pm for her 5 min surgery!!! This is so ridiculous - and so inconsiderate of other peoples time ….. how can you make an elderly 80 year old wait that long?? We also heard it is the same for an office appt - 2hour min wait time?! My mother will be looking for another dr to do her other eye.

Dr. Hiss and Dr. Macintyre were absolutely the best I have ever experienced! My dad and I had to run to Reno from Elko quick to see these guys. Once we got there we felt no pressure or rush at all from Dr. Hiss. We didn’t get to Reno until after 530 pm. He made us feel absolutely comfortable and wanted to make sure everything was okay with my dad! Then since we were staying the weekend in Reno Dr. Hiss had his associate Dr. Macintyre see my father as well the next day which was Saturday to make sure everything was going to be okay. These Dr’s are the best of the best! I would recommend them to anyone who needs any help in the field they are in!

I read the poor reviews with trepidation! However when I arrived, parking was poor but found a spot, and the waiting room was completely full! Looks like the waiting room serves several doctors, I was seen in about 15 minutes and I was out after an hourish. Dr. Urrea was calm, collected, cool, and gave his full attention. He told me things and I felt much relieved! IMHO he needs a better location with more parking and fewer Doctor partners, the issues I saw there were not directly related to him. I'm happy to come back for my next appointment! I gave four stars so you would believe this is a real review.

I just had the best experience at this location! Dr. A was very quick but not in a rushing way. James and Marcus both helped me pick out a pair of frames. I got a great deal which I was surprised by.

We were nervous for our 9 year old son's eye surgery but Dr Budman is not only a wonderful and very intelligent doctor he is also absolutely fantastic with communicating with us before, during and after the surgery that we had no worries at all. We could not ask for a better care provider for our family.

Had all 6 of us in the family for eye exams and glasses—the whole 9 yards. Friendly and helpful staff. Good docs—Dowling & Blake. Recommend highly.
