I have not been a client there. BUT I called to attempt to go see the dr for an eye exam. The lady who answered the phone did not know if they accepted my insurance, then preceded to tell me "no that's a health insurance" umm no ma'am I'm looking at my insurance card plus a list of doctors they know of in my hand. I'm calling because I was wanting to go to eye mart express and you're next door. She then tells me I would have to go in person so they can check with my social....WHAT THE HECK!?! Why? This is why I'm calling to avoid driving over there for nothing. So just never mind I will take my business else where all together. its unfortunate this doctor does not know his staff is not knowledgeable

Appointment times aren't really honored so it kinda defeats the purpose of making an appointment. The waiting room seating is limited to naturally, it's chaos. All in all, a very subpar/unpleasant experience.

I like the doctor but haven’t been a fan of the opticians. I’ve been charged the full price for the wrong prescription yet I was never offered a refund. The opticians couldn’t figure out what was wrong until the doctor intervened. I understand that mistakes happen, but I also expect people to own those mistakes rather than relying on the customer to bear the burden. I’d still recommend Dr. Lawson. She’s fantastic and extremely passionate about her work. You are definitely in good hands under her direct care. In terms of getting your glasses here, I would advise against that (although perhaps they are not as inexperienced as they were since my last visit).

I've had a lot of bad luck, which includes a heart attack & the loss of being able to work again. On Medicare its pretty well known the coverage is not favorable, especially on a limited income. I stepped on my glasses & destroyed them. I had an old pair, but I couldn't see well. I had no choice but to try & get a new pair. I recently moved to Amarillo to stay with family, so I did a Google search to find a good place to go. Eyeglass World popped up with awesome reviews. I called & Lupe invited me to come right away. Lupe helped me find the right frames to support my Rx (the frames looked awesome). Trust me, Lupe knows what she's doing (other reviewers feel the same). I sat down with Kristina to get the prices. I fumbled with maxed out credit cards trying to figure out how I was going to pay. Ryan & Kristina recognized I had a big problem. Together they arranged for company sponsored hardship assistance. My jaw dropped. They made my glasses for free. I thank God 1st always, but without Lupe, Kristina, & Ryan this blessing would not have been possible. I remain grateful about what they did for me. My new glasses are perfect.

Friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. Like many of the people here I sat on my glasses and they broke, the man running the shop had to weld my frame back together. He went the extra step to make the frame unbreakable because I like my glasses tight and the welded portion was fragile. 10/10 will come back again (with broken glasses).

Optima eyecare is great for all of contacts and glasses for the family. The doctors are great and Barbara and Cathie will help you find the perfect frames! Definitely visit them in Halcyon.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hamburger yesterday, he examined me due to an increase in floaters in my left eye. Amazing bedside manner and professionalism, he was kind and did an great job !! highly recommend him. The office staff was great too.

Dr. Love and her staff do a great job of explaining everything they are doing g during your exam. They are also wonderful with kids, they put my daughters at ease during their exams. Everyone in the office is friendly and welcoming.

I've had good experience being seen, staff is friendly, buying good priced glasses, but I wish they'd update their hours online. I've been there twice now to pick up my new glasses and their website hours don't reflect when they are really open. I'm going to ask them to mail me the glasses.

Couldn’t have been better! Walman Eye Center was the best medical experience I’ve ever had! The staff is exceptional and very kind and patient. Dr. Walman is great at what he does and makes you feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident in the procedure throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them!!
