I've been a long time patient of Georgia Eye Institute/Dr. Piros. I have had scheduling, rescheduling and wrong scheduling issues with this office recently. Unfortunately, the staff was less than accommodating, arrogant, rude, take it or leave it attitude. Time to take it to another eye care practice.

Hollingshead Eye Center provided a commendable experience during my recent visit. The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness, contributing to a positive atmosphere. The check-in process was swift, and I appreciated the efficiency of timely tests, eliminating any prolonged waiting.
Dr. Barrett's professionalism shone through; he was not only friendly but also demonstrated a high level of knowledge. His detailed explanation of the test results and the required follow-up showcased a commitment to patient understanding. Overall, the center's seamless operations, coupled with Dr. Barrett's expertise, resulted in a thoroughly positive and professional experience.

I'm disappointed that I was not given a reminder until I called that morning. My visit with the doctor and the assistant we're wonderful. Also I was told to be there 15 minutes earlier than my appointment time. The doors didn't even open 15 minutes earlier than my appointment.

Unfortunately my mother was referred to this doctors office by her primary. My nieces, sister and I have had to bring her here for some eye appointments and there is always too many people waiting in the lobby, HOURS of waiting, in a not so great location. This office/doctor books back to back patients with one doctor to serve all these patients. Staff is friendly but feels like this office is abusing the medical system by having so many patients check in with medical/medicaid coverage. How is this allowed? Additional doctors should be hired to serve this much volume. What a disappointment.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. I was a walk-in with no appointment and they gladly squeezed me in. Dr. Baezmore was professional, great at he job, and very nice. It was the first time I actually enjoyed getting my eyes checked. I’d definitely recommend this office.

For
MyEyeDr.
I've been a client of MyEyeDr. for nearly 10 years now and in the past year have seen a decline in customer service and product quality. It took nearly 5 weeks to receive my new glasses this year and I was never contacted that they were ready to pick up - I had to reach out to them to ask. When I picked them up, the optician helping me was rude and dismissive. My frames fit poorly because the fitting was rushed. I love Dr. Petrilla and her assistant, but am not sure I will go here to buy glasses again. Sad to see it in decline.

1000% recommend and coming back. The staff is amazing, made the entire experience extremely comfortable as if it were me walking into my own home. They’re very up to date with their technology it’s insane. I was honestly so amazed and impressed with everything. Doc took care of me as well and made sure I was aware of my option. Thank you guys!!

A very thorough exam. Unlike any eye exam i’ve had. Seeing the images of my Retina, Optic Nerve and Macula was so interesting. I was very comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr Fallon and his associate, Osef, provided an outstanding experience.

I recently went here for my annual exam, the staff and Dr. Reese are always professional and efficient however the wait time still ended up being around 2 hours without dialation or even shopping for glasses. I think the scheduling system needs to be revised. Also I find it odd that the front desk can’t handle cash? Only the doctor can but the doctor is always with a patient. I owed 10 dollars but I only had a 20, the only reason I got out when I did is because one of the staff was so kind as to give me the change out her own wallet.

When business is slow which occurs on a regular basis you're required to take days off from work and punch out early. This will effect your paycheck.
There is a lack of online technology. This causes a significant increase in tasks and makes for a very tedious and time consuming workday.
Your job description is subject to change shortly after working at the company. The next thing you know you can have multiple job titles you're responsible for with a significant workload.
Surgery Scheduler is a very busy job you'll have over 40 charts to assemble on some days in addition to boarding surgeries.
Physician Liaison is required to travel in your personal vehicle to approximately 10 doctor offices; on a regular basis to build relationships and represent the company.
The workplace culture is to be friends with each other and socialize outside of work.
Poor medical benefits with a very high deductible thousands of dollars. Lack of traditional eyeglass insurance.
