My wife underwent expensive cataract surgery in Feb 2021 in one eye. Dr. Cukrowski didn't educate us on the downside of the premium trifocal Pan Optix lens (not covered by insurance) in detail ( Halos and Glare). Infact he highly recommended the same for her. It is nearly a year after surgery but the issue of halos and glare persists and she cannot drive at night. The post cataract laser surgery was also performed but no improvement. They recommended anti glare correction glasses but the issue remains. After multiple visits and a second opinion found out that the lens itself is the cause of the concentric rings, glare and spider web and 20% patients may never adapt to it. Dr. Cukrowski was suggesting additional treatments not covered by insurance. Worst case scenario would be to get the IOL removed and a monofocal lens implanted. After multiple visits..stress and unclear consultation given up on the doctor. Upon complaints the fine print for surgery was referred to us. Thoroughly disappointed and devastated financially and emotionally.

Our family has been going to Site Optometry for the past 10 years. Everyone there is so professional and helpful. They don't pressure any sales or add-ons for glasses. They are knowledgeable about what our benefits cover. Our glasses even came in a week earlier than expected. If you want a personal touch then definitely give them a chance.

My husband and I had a great experience at Warby Parker on Woodward Avenue in Detroit. Our technician was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. It is the perfect place to shop for glasses, and you can’t beat the quality of the product and the price!

My daughter has seen Dr. Bullard since she was a baby for her amblyopia and strabismus. He always takes such good care of her and is so attentive to her eye care needs. He explains things thoroughly and is appropriately aggressive with her treatment. Nick, the orthoptist, is fabulous as well. The opticians have also been tremendous with helping us choose the best glasses for her over the years. We love Utah Eye Centers!

good doctors with a lot of experience. downside, 1 doctor had an attitude and WALKED OUT of an eye exam. hopefully was just a bad day but dr P was very unprofessional on one occasion.

Forget every negative thing you read about Dr. Leighton and his staff. He is he only Eye Doctor my family has every had and I love going there. He is a trip, Jen and the rest of the staff are equally awesome and anyone who says otherwise is clearly confused. - R. Whisenant
