The response from the owner is underwhelming. The only response that would be acceptable would be a refund of at least 50% of their outrageous fee for such a simple service. I was not charged for having my frames adjusted the last time I came to this location.
I also have not yet received the “itemized bill” that was supposedly going to be emailed to me.
I came in to have my new glasses (purchased online) adjusted and to have the prescription checked against the lenses in my new glasses, since my eyes were adjusting to the new prescription . (I had my frames adjusted before at this location without incurring a fee.)
I’m not a customer, and the optician stated there would be a fee (he didn’t say how much and I didn’t ask- my bad). I was prepared to pay a fee. How much could it be $20-$30?
The optician was polite, which is the only reason I’m giving one star. Anyway, after he adjusted my frames and told me the prescription was fine, he tells me I owe $89!
Seriously? That was a close to what I paid for the glasses!
This place is overcharging. He shared that my lenses alone would cost $790 at this store! Unbelievable!
Once I paid , he said his system was unable to print an itemized receipt, and he said he could email it. By that time I was so fed up, I told him to go ahead and email it. He never did. I will be writing to the corporate office.
Will never return here, much less recommend it to anyone.

The staff are very polite. I really like the doctors here. One thing I have.noticed is that those putting drops in eyes do not wear gloves nor do those touching around the eye area. This is odd to me. Even though they are located in Sun City ( the office I take my husband) it is very awkward to maneuver a wheelchair in the office. Waiting rooms in particular really don’t have it set up for wheelchairs when it starts getting crowded. Nevertheless I am really fond of Dr Patel. She seems very caring and sincere.

Dr good is the most amazing doctor we've found! Our autistic son will not let anyone near him to check his eyes, or strangers period. Dr. Good was able to get everything done and even get one eye dilated! I have never found anyone like her, and even though we've moved I will make the extra time to keep seeing her!

I've been going to Buckeye Vision Care for over a decade and have been very satisfied with their service, hence me using them for so long.
Dr. Morton is clearly knowledgeable and he's very thorough, explaining very well what he's seeing (pun intended) during the exam and what he's recommending moving forward.
All personnel working there is very helpful and professional - I'll continue to go there.

I saw Dr. Chapman, he's awesome! l really admire the love of his job, his business, and appreciation of his staff. The front desk staff is also great! Payment, scheduling, and overall processes are set up very efficiently. Support local and go here!
Highly recommend.

Richard Wood, OD
My family had our first appointment with Dr. Wood and we were beyond impressed! Everyone is extremely nice and helpful/approachable. The front office was very clean and they even have a small area for kids! Anything helps when it comes to keeping the kids entertained, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Dr. Wood himself was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he genuinely cares. He was great with my son, and asked all of the right questions. We left feeling like we were in the right hands. Such a great feeling! Thank you Dr. Wood and staff!

Optica Mia
We've used them a few years ago. They are fast and decently priced. My husband is extremely blind and they helped us with same day emergency services.

I see all the negative reviews but have only had a good experience thus far. I have been two years in a row now and saw two different doctors, both of whom were so good, nice, helpful, and professional. The people who help choose frames were patient with me and good at helping me choose frames for my face. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes at the most. I only took off a star because they have two different offices on two different floors and you can't see all of the frames at once. Otherwise, will plan to keep going there.

Lowitz John S OD
Dr Lowitz did the most thorough eye exam I've ever had as well. He didn't walk through the motions with the usual, "Is this better... or this. Is this better...or this." So many times, I get confused, don't really answer accurately, and end up with a prescription that doesn't help me much and leaves me with headaches daily. As I am a recent cancer survivor, he showed empathy, adjusted his exam to help me combat the worst of the damage of the cancer treatment that has just destroyed my eyesight. I left feeling heard and confident that I had been treated as an individual, not just a Sucker to be upsold on a $500 pair of glasses that are only a step above the readers you can buy in the drug store for $14.99. I was surprised at the negative reviews. I guess he's either your cup of tea or not, but as someone who's seen a lot of drs lately, he's definitely a professional. (I took the picture of my son getting his exam right after mine. If Dr. Lowitz doesn't want his picture up here though, I'll take it down.)

Mile High Retina
Great staff! Mark Patron was fantastic and explaining things. Discussed pros and cons of various treatment possibilities with me. At this point, we agreed to continue to observe my retinal issue rather than start a series of eye injections. Going back in 4 months.
