Very unprofessional, it took almost 3 weeks for my daughter glasses to arrive and they still got the prescription wrong meaning only that one lense has her prescription and the other lense doesn't.
She was pleased with her exam and selection of frames to pick and the price for everything.

So guys I have to be honest. My experience with spectacles wasn't so great. When you pay premium prices you expect service, right? I mean, why else would you pay the premium prices? I've been working in Oregon and broke my glasses! Oh no! No prob, I'll just call spectacles and get my prescription so I can buy an emergency pair. WRONG! I think the ladies' name was Daniella or something similar, anyway she tells me my prescription is expired and she can't help. WHAT? BUT ITS AN EMERGENCY! Doesn't matter. She finally agreed to email me the expired prescription but didn't! SHE THEN HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and I asked for Dr Patton to return my call. They said she would...BUT she DIDN'T call. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND A DOCTOR THAT CARES ABOUT MORE THAN MONEY!!!! Honestly the selection here sucks anyway. Don't waste your time on these rude people.

Dr Patton does a thorough exam and is very proficient at determining the proper prescription. The staff is very friendly and professional. You come away with the feeling that you have been treated by a healthcare professional rather than a corporate entity motivated by profit first and patient care second.

I absolutely love them. The staff is priceless as is Dr.Patton. She is attentive and caring and VERY good at what she does. I will drive as far as I have to, to go there because entrusting the health of my eyes to the best care is not an option.

Dr. Hairston and her staff were very nice and patient with my babies (8yrs, and 6yrs) she did their exam allowed them to pick their own frames. We got in the car and they said they love it there and can’t wait to go back!!! I recommend all my mothers getting your children seen by someone not only professional but caring and loving as well

The entire staff was extremely professional, courteous, caring and very warm and welcoming. I just love Dr. Hairston she made me feel so comfortable because I was extremely nervous because it had been a while since I’ve had an eye exam. My overall experience was impeccably amazing!!!

I have been going to JEA for several years but have watched the quality of employees decline very much. Typically when one makes an appointment at a certain time, it’s for a reason. Possibly it’s their day off for appointments and have things lined up at certain times. I understand things happen, especially since I work in a healthcare setting. If we are ever behind or I know a patient has waited more than 10-15, I find it helpful to let them know. My appt was at 8:30 with JEA this morning. At 9:00, I inquired about how much longer the wait would be. The receptionist called someone (while talking very low) and told me she didn’t know and couldn’t tell me how much longer it would be….only that it would be “a minute”. Not really sure who this falls back in here. Could be that the doctor was late getting in…it was super quiet in the office. (A few random laughs from the back) Only one other person waiting and she was getting antsy like me. My point is that at the very least have the common courtesy to keep your patients informed. They have lives and schedules like you. The lack of professionalism here is awful. I love Dr Smith that I have always seen here, but because of lack of professionalism here this morning, I’ll be seeking care elsewhere.

Called to request an eye exam as a new patient MULTIPLE times. Receptionist answers the. Leaves me on hold. I waited 10 minutes. There's plenty of folks in town that want your business...this isn't one of them. Too bad, cause you really have some awesome frames downstairs!

I had the opportunity to go to Jackson Eye Associates for my first eye exam on12/27/22. The wait time for being called to the exam room was approximately 30 minutes. I was placed in an exam room by a staff member named Beth who was not friendly and who only entered my information into the system. After Dr. Taylor Smith completed my initial eye exam, I waited approximately 15 additional minutes for him to return after my eyes were dilated. During this time, he went door to door treating other patients before returning. While waiting for the dr. to return, the staff person, Beth, asked me to change to another room at which time she became more pleasant and talkative. I was placed into a room that appeared to not have been disinfected, as I had just heard another patient leaving that same room before I was asked to go in. At billing, I was informed that I had met my deductible but was then informed that I had to pay an additional fee because one of the tests given by the dr. was not covered by my insurance nor was the prescription.
