Dr. Sosne did my cataract surgery 6 years ago--his work was excellent & the entire experience was actually enjoyable! He is excellent at explaining the procedures & options, & staff are top-notch. MOST highly recommend. Also calming, friendly, smart, sense of humor.

I got serious eye Cornea injury on left eye. Dr Sosne really expert and great what he doing. He treated my cornea very well and I was able to recover very fast with 100% my vision back. He is very professional and patience with me. Definitely recommend him. I know there are some long waits sometimes, but it’s worth it.

On February 14, 2023 my Aunt Diane Craighead was a patient of Dr. Gabriel Sosne for cataract surgery. Dr. Sosne and his staff were both professional and phenomenal. Dr. Sosne’s bedside manner was friendly as well as comforting. My aunt was nervous about the procedure. The staff at Kresege Eye Institue, Straith Hospital, as well as Dr. Sosne made sure that we were fully aware of the procedure and the follow-up care. We were impressed with the friendly, sensitive, and compassionate behavior they showed us during my aunt’s procedure. Took my fiance for a routine eye exam appointment was at 915am, here it is 1215pm still sitting here waiting for him to come out. He is just now seeing the eye dr 3 hrs after his appointment time. This place is horrible don't waste your time you will be here all damn day horrible horrible horrible!!!!!!!!

I had scratched my cornea and Dr. Zuckerbrod saw me the same day. VERY kind and caring. The optical shop is amazing too!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Giles for 20 years , and he is the most thorough Doctor around . He saved my eye sight , and for that I am so grateful . The staff is wonderful too , making sure you get your appointments scheduled and are taking care of accordingly .

Dr Giles is a fantastic physician. He corrected a macular issue my daughter had when she was very little. She’s a teen ager now and has had no issues since that surgery. He is an extremely kind man and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my daughter’s young eyes. He always was respectful to both my wife and I and more importantly our daughter. Dr Giles always provided exceptional communication and care when testing and treating her. The Kresge Eye Institute is very disorganised and hard to navigate. Their website is outdated and difficult to get around and find anything. The reception staff aren’t rude but they also aren’t very helpful. Please don’t let this detract from Dr Giles or how he treats patients. Sadly his skills and attention to patients haven’t trickled down to some of the staff.

I’ve been coming here for years and the office staff is always so kind and helpful, I love them! But the female optometrist is rude and extremely dismissive of any concerns you have. I brought a concern to her attention about my eyes, which she made me feel stupid about. I then took that same concern to a different optometrist and they confirmed that there there was something wrong and that I was correct.
