Brought my Mom in for some diagnostics. Our tech, Sandra A., was phenomenal. She was extremely patient with my limited mobility mother and spent as much time as my Mom needed to feel comfortable and informed regarding treatment. Sandra’s professionalism offset the fact that Tufts didn’t have any wheelchairs available for handicapped patients. If it were not for our incredible tech, this review would have only warranted 2 stars.

Dr. Peter Zhao An emergency issue with my eye had me going to NEEC for treatment. My surgery was done, not once but twice, largely in part to the severity of the problem.. When booking a F/u I was told 10wks out because my surgeon was no longer with NEEC, but saw patients 1x per month. Not happy. I was referred to Dr. Peter Zhao. This referral turned out to be the BEST part of my whole optical experience. Apprehensive at first about a new Doctor these worries disappeared upon meeting him. He is through, compassionate, listens to your concerns and answers all your questions. I did have to have a 3rd surgery and he took the time to review, even re review the procedure when I needed that. He was well aware that this was my 3rd surgery in 9 months so he made sure I was able to ask all the questions I needed to ask. I was at ease with him. His technical skill has proven to be outstanding. His pre op and post op visits help to calm nerves. Recovery was issue free. He welcomes communication with his patients at all junctures of the process. Dr. Zhao is one of the best eye surgeons in this area.

This place stinks. 1030 appointment it’s now noon and still haven’t been seen yet! Why make a 1030 appointment when you can’t be seen for 1.5 hours after!??? These hospital and doctors should be ashamed of themselves with these wait times! Unreal!!!! I usually don’t bother with boston base hospitals! The wait times are ridiculous and traffic terrible!

Great hospital. The staff at and in the emergency department were very friendly and helpful. They had phone charging station in the waiting area. The place was packed, not one empty seat in the whole waiting room. There was a cafe across the hall but it was closed. They served drinks there. They initially told us it would be a 3 hour wait but turned out to be one hour and a half wait. When we got to a room, the doctor was quick and thorough. The parking was easy if you went into the right lot off storrow drive.

Worst hospital to get surgery at. They will tell you to arrive at 11am. Then tell you won’t have surgery for another 4 hours. Already anxious about surgery, and had to stop Eatting at midnight to sit here and wait longer than my actual procedure was. Get your offices together.- I understand doctors run behind. But people can communicate about delayed arrival

The clinical component is 5 star . BUT when it comes to the management side of things like scheduling , insurance authorization , caring office staff 1 star They managed to cause us untold stress and anxiety for hours the day before the complicated surgery . They couldn’t get the authorization right . And that was totally on them. Two words : SLOPPY and CARELESS. The last straw was when we got here for a 6AM surgery we were bounced to 2 PM ; then 3 hours in surgery and a 4 hour drive home out of state. VERY UNHAPPY!

Danielle at the Saugus location is extremely helpful and pleasant. I’ve been there a few times to adjust my eyeglasses and she’s always been super friendly. Thank you Danielle.

The Optometrist was outstanding and asked many questions vs a clinical-only exam. Shannon, the optician, went above and beyond to delve into my unique job requirement for my two pairs of glasses. The owner, Carmen, offered to come in and ensure everything was perfect; no need it was, as Shannon had taken care of that.

Went to Pearle Vision to get replacement glasses and find out about new lens for post cataract surgery. Shannon Logan was the best. She went way above and beyond to help. Shannon was polite, helpful, very professional and pleasant to work with. I will recommend Shannon to anyone who ask who they should see about getting glasses.

The best eye exam I’ve had in my 30 years of wearing glasses. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My exam was through and professionally done. Dr Silverblatt was extremely patience during the exam and when addressing my concerns. Everything was explained in layman’s terms. Dr Silverblatt made me feel as if he had all day to discuss things. For quality eye care I highly recommend Dr Silverblatt and staff.

I am thrilled that I found this eye clinic! They were on time getting me back to my appointment and the doctor was thorough and kind. I ordered new glasses, they came in quickly and for the first time in my life they were adjusted correctly on the first try. It’s obvious that the staff at this clinic really care about their patients!
