I had an outstanding experience at WK Eye Institute Pierremont in Shreveport, Louisiana. From the friendly staff to the knowledgeable doctors, every aspect of my visit was professional and efficient. The state-of-the-art equipment and personalized care assured me that I was in capable hands. I highly recommend this institute for anyone seeking top-quality eye care in the area.

Staff is very friendly. Lady at front desk is very helpful and pays attention to the patience. Nurse's are very informative about what's going on. Dr. Swearington is great with patients. Great job Everyone

David Bryan and staff are friendly, professional and effective in addressing all concerns. They addressed opportunity for vision improvement with glasses and contact lenses, with respect to the likelihood of wearing either over a given time frame for the level of improvement desired.

I’m very pleased with Lusk Eye specialists and DON WALKER, O.D.! The professionalism among the staff is excellent…what a wonderful team! Dr. Walker is so very knowledgeable. He possesses excellent communication skills, compassion and is genuine! I have complete confidence in his abilities and I share such with all my friends! My experience with Dr. Bryan Lusk and all the staff including the very sweet Kimberly was great. I’ve wanted LASIK for most of my life and finally made an appointment for a consult. Kimberly was extremely thorough, my exams were smooth, everyone I came in contact with explained every single procedure. Prior to my surgery I was extremely anxious and nervous, however Dr. Bryan Lusk and his sweet staff walked me through everything, and Kimberly even held my hand LITERALLY. I’m so happy I chose Lusk Eye Specialists because now I can see perfectly and it changed my life. Thank you Dr. Lusk & staff!!

I recently had lasik with Dr. Bryan Lusk and I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff. They were so kind and made me feel at ease during the procedure. Going from -6 in both eyes to 20/20 has truly changed my life. So thankful for Dr. Lusk and his team!! Highly recommend!

I will say that I was very nervous about going to this location because out of their last 10 reviews, 8 were negative with one star. I even thought about just canceling my appointment and going somewhere else. The reviews are true. You can't look at frames unless you are seen by the doctor for an eye exam. So if you are trying to shop for frames, don't come here. However, the staff that I interacted with were very friendly and professional. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable, and she was confident in her skills. Overall, I don't see why anyone would have a bad experience here unless you're trying to see what frames they have available before you schedule an eye exam. I do think that policy is absurd, but I wonder what the reason behind it is.

I will never ever spend a dime there. We were rushed through our exam without filling out any paperwork after this "buyout" but I was told we were new clients. Then waited an hour to get called back. I was not told what each test was and what for. You're not allowed to look at frames at all unless you've already seen the doctor which is ridiculous when you're waiting for an hour just to see the doctor. Then when you get shuffled out because it's 4:45 and they want to leave, the owner told the person helping us to rush us along. We needed to pick something out or come back another day. I guess he's not in the money business because I spend no less than $500 on my glasses alone. Three people in my house have glasses. So now I'm screwed on my exam and have to wait another year to have legitimate office handle it. The person helping us was extremely embarrassed and apologized over and over. The staff was very nice but overall I felt like they were rushing through their book because they were short people.

This company will never get another penny from me again nor will I ever recommend someone to this company. I went in the fall of 2022 to get prescription sunglasses. They took roughly 5-6 weeks to get them back from being "built." The prescription was perfect, but it felt like I had drunk goggles on because they made me super nauseas. So they sent them back to a different lens making company to see if they could fix this issue. Issues still was not fixed... but the lady told me, "try them out for a week or two and if it's not better, come in and we will get a different frame and lens cut for you." I said okay great... I went back a few weeks ago, Their answer was "Sorry sir, there is nothing we can do about this since this process started when we were the old company. We changed names at the beginning of 2023." So not only am I out $400 on glasses, look at the picture attached... the frame is so stretched out from the prescription lens, the regular lens that comes with it doesn't even fit and falls out!! Do not use this company. I have all my insurance paper work also, and they still would not do anything about it.

My wife and I were patients of Dr. Bruce Henderson for years until his untimely passing. Most recently, I had an appointment with Dr. Boyd. She was customer friendly and took time to explain the reason for my eye problems, i.e. Cataracts. She set me up for a July consultation with Dr. Guy, who will perform the surgery in the near future.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I set up an appointment and wasted time/money with them. So I get called back and the nurse ( I guess ) who measured and dilated my eyes, she was super sweet. Although when it was time to take my contacts out she just handed me a contact case. She didn’t offer me a mirror, hand washing station, nothing. Fast forward to the eye exam with Clemons. She rushed through my exam and was impatient, which I’m not used to. Every doctor I’ve ever been to has been considerate. Not her. When we wrapped things up she also didn’t offer me a hand washing station to put my contact back in, I had to ask her myself and she just pointed to a dark sink in the corner of this room which there wasn’t even paper towels to my hands or a mirror to see what I was doing. I literally had to dry my hands with Kleenex and she watched me do all of this. I’ve had better care at Walmart and Target Optical than at this place. Just go somewhere else if you’re considering this place. Will not be returning next year or ever again for an eye exam,
