Super kid friendly with entertaining decor and puzzles and movies while kids wait. Very nice and professional doctors as well.

I've gone here for years and only ever had good experiences. But today I went and was told my total for glasses after insurance was 425 and some change. Later, I received a call that there was a mistake and I now owe another $60 the next time I come in. That's a hefty increase that I needed to be consulted on as to whether I wish to change or cancel my order, not just told I owe more than what I paid.

My appointment with Dr Adams was prompt and professional. My new glasses are great!

Visionfirst is hands-down the best Optometrist in Louisville by a landslide. My child and I started seeing them 3 years ago at the Middletown location and they now continue to exceed our expectations at the taylorhurst location. We always experience short wait times and friendly staff. Today Emily was able to help me with an emergency contact order when one of my contacts ripped. Thanks Emily!

I highly recommend Dr. Haider. He has been treating the chronic autoimmune disease in my eyes for the past five years and has literally saved my eye sight. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, but modest in his dealings with patients. I trust him and I am blessed to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Haider has a great reputation around Louisville with helping the less fortunate. He cares about his patients just like he would care for his own family. His work overseas with helping those who can not afford eye care speaks for itself. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family. I would also like to give the entire staff at Dr. Haider Eye Care five stars for their friendly and helpful service to their patients.

Dr. Haider has been my doctor for years and I have a lot of eye issues. He is the ultimate professional giving thoughtful and effective care. He always takes a lot of time to reflect on the right treatment or care of my eyes. If you want to feel confident in your eye care Dr. Haider is that doctor. I think he is great and I am thankful for the sight I have because of his care.

I had a very good experience the doctor was patient and very experienced. associate helping me with my glasses was outstanding. It was just a all in all good visit I had went somewhere else the days before, and I was very disappointed on how they carried out but here at Visions First I was so pleased I would recommend them to anyone.

Received a email asking to leave a review on here so I'm going to do it. I have to be honest. I went to this location specifically and purchased a eye exam, one new complete pair of glasses, and new lenses for three (3) pair of sunglasses I already owned. After leaving with them... the regular pair seemed to be fine. 2 out of 3 pair of the sunglasses gave me really painful headaches within an hour after wearing them. The 3rd pair I could only wear outside I believe without those also making my head hurt. So I called and asked for my prescription if they wasn't going to make it right..(yes they argued with me about it and said it was correct period.) .. but called again and the lady was rude and said I could pick it up. She printed a sheet that said said "R" eye 2.0 "L" 2.0 ...... so I went online to try to order a whole new pair of sunglasses and learned that the sheet they gave me wasn't a lens prescription at all... they wasn't sure what it was. So I ate the cost of 4 to get one good one is where I'm at with it. It really sucks because these things aren't cheap and everyone can't just go spend more money like some folks can. And if/when you upset a customer and they just want whatever their specific prescription is, be honest, and just give them that. Don't act like they did while giving them some bogus number (as its not how any lens would read). However the stars that I did give would have to go to the actual Dr... which I apologize I can't find the name of right now.... but the Doctor was very nice and very respectful... unfortunately the rest of the way throughout the entire experience was very unprofessional.... I had a great first visit with VisionFirst. The staff was friendly and courteous and respectful. My doctor was most professional and helpful as well. The place was virtually spotless and welcoming. I highly recommend you use VisionFirst on Dixie Highway in Louisville for your eye care needs.

I had a great experience at SVS. It was simple to get an appointment, and quickly. When I walked in I was greeted with smiles from the friendly staff. I'd had a negative experience at the last place I'd gotten glasses, but everyone here was very friendly. They listened to the problems I was having with my glasses, that the other place hadn't gotten right after multiple visits. I have a hard time finding new glasses, one because I can't see well enough to know how they look, and also because it's hard to find frames that fit my face well. The staff was very helpful in finding the perfect frames. I've been getting tons of compliments since I picked them up yesterday. I also had issues with the contacts I was given at the other place. They told me that is just have to be happy with what they were able to do. Again, at SVS they listened to me and the problems I was describing. Then instead of telling me "take what I can give you and get used to it" they gave me some samples designed to meet my needs. Told me to take them home and try them out, then if they worked well to come buy some, if not we could try something else. I'll definitely be back.
