I've only ever gone to the same Optometrist for eye care. Then my primary care physician sent me to Kumar for a diabetic eye exam and I was pleasantly surprised by the care and kindness I've been missing since my old family run optometrist sold out to a larger company run business. Dr. Kumar's staff still has that personal touch and feel you rarely see in a medical facility anymore. Kudos to them for keeping a great "bedside manor" alive. Highly recommended!

My children has been seeing Dr.Howell for over 12 years. Never missed an appointment always on time. We missed 1 appointment due to COVID and got pushed back 5/6 months. I understand Dr.Howell/Eye Associates is busy. However, 5/6 months for another appointment. I asked to be put on the cancellation list. Never received a phone or anything. I just called and asked about a cancellation. The lady asked me was I on the cancellation list? How would I know that? Can you check? She just kept saying if you're on the cancellation list they will call you. ( really wasn't any help at all ) I'm giving 3 stars because of this. Other then that I would recommend Dr.Howell. If you have Medicaid just go somewhere else for your glasses. They don't have a big variety of glasses that accept Medicaid to choose from.

I took my son to get an eye exam. It had been awhile since he had one but everyone at Dr. Black’s was friendly. The woman who started the exam said she was in training. I think she did a great job and she kept my son talking. He was nervous at getting the exam but I think the woman was friendly and helpful. My son even told her that she was doing a good job. I think it was a good experience altogether.

Dr. Howell can diagnose my symptom and how he can correct my issue. He is easy to understand and no question is to sm. He definitely knows what he is talking about. surgery on both eyes went well.

I highly recommend this office for any of your eye care needs. They’re so nice to work with and get you in and out fast. Each staff member from Judy in the front desk to the Dr. and his assistant always were nice and answered all my questions and concerns. I won’t ever go anywhere else for my eye care!

My family has been going to Dr Nemeth for years. My dad recently had a surgery on both eyes and he cannot be more happier. Staff is great and always friendly. Judy calls you every time to remind you for next visit. Front desk will always welcome you with smile. A+++

Note address has changed to off of poplar level. Dr Nemeth and staff are great. Went for a common eye issue and had superior results than with another office. Also can get appointments relatively soon. New office.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Gupta since she was 3 and we really adore her. She’s done a surgery on her & has been so great with her. But appointments here are rough. We are seen by the nurse who looks at her eyes, has her look at some photos and then left in the room for 1.5-2 hours. They finally come in and do eye drops to dilate the eyes, so then we’re left for another 20 minutes before the Dr ever comes in. It’s rough on a child. My daughter usually falls asleep in my lap. They are always booked months out, yet still overbook everyday so that patients are left waiting in the room for hours.

This is the best eye place in Louisville. I was treated with such kindness and respect. Dr. Whitlow is so thorough and spends so much time with patient. And did everything to figure out what was going on.

Dr. Kumar was very thorough. Explained everything without rushing and they were very busy. He is very kind and so is his staff.
