BEWARE that this doctor charges for Diabetic Eye exam that is 100% covered by insurance. The doctor will perform unnecessary tests against your will and you find yourself at the paying end. Billing told me this was for Refraction Test that I never authorized and was NOT done in the first place. As I never heard of it, went on looking on the net. And found out that this test uses a specialized equipment that WAS NOT used during my visit, hence I was billed for a test that was never done in the first place. All complaints fall on deaf ears, and phone calls / emails / faxes are never returned.
Furthermore, doctor did NOT utter a word about importance of wearing sunglasses / blue light blockers, while delivering a breaking news about cataract. Not saying what type of a cataract or the extent of damage. Apparently he is mostly interested in surgery, I can only guess why.
I wish that doctor cut down on singing and talking about non-related issues. Last year he was running pictures of his kids on a large screen in the hallway; he addressed his kids as LITTER. This struck me as odd; very disrespectful. During my last visit, Dr Bello offered an elective surgery but refused to explain or answer questions.
I have been seeing Dr Bello for years, but this incident marked my last going there. NEVER AGAIN and do NOT recommend this doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Bello for several years. I needed cataract surgery after retina surgery. This made it a more difficult procedure. He did a wonderful job. My vision has improved tremendously. He is always very thorough, and answers all of my questions.
Dr. Bello is always cheerful. You can really tell that he loves what he does. I love that he is often singing! It's wonderful to see such a happy friendly person. The world would be a much more cheerful place if more people followed his lead!

I had an appointment with Dr. Kapusta only once so far and I can already tell he is patient and enthusiastic about his craft. I really appreciate the time he took to explain things to me during my appointment. He showed me what each scan meant, pointed out the details, etc. I really appreciated his time and hope to book an appointment with him in the future. I learned a lot from him.

A friend recommended Dr Kapusta to me a few years ago. He is by far the best eye doctor I’ve ever seen. I have funky eyes so other docs usually put the metal glasses on me and I’d have to look on the street to see if I could read the signs. … More

First time seeing Dr. Kapusta and can’t say enough of good things about him and his staff! He is so thorough, nice and just explains everything. His staff is all so friendly too! I don’t have to look any further for an eye doc, I found mine.

I have come to FYEO for many years. Up until the last year or so I have been highly satisfied. Recently I have been extremely disappointed. Twice now when I have come to pick up my contact prescription there has been a major issue. Once, they ordered the wrong prescription and tried to play it off like it was my fault. The second time, today, they didn’t have my contacts in at all, even though I had gotten an email saying they were ready for pickup. I was told the email was automatic and not to be considered actually true. I was also told that I asked to have three prescriptions prepared and ordered in succession (I did not). I was told that they *might* have trials for me to use for 5 days while they order the correct prescription (which would take several weeks to ship), and they everything was a miscommunication. On top of that Dr. Jungles was not kind, caring and compassionate at my appointment the way I am used to with Dr. Scott. He cut me off regularly, struggled to listen when I repeatedly told him I am sensitive to different contact material and I’m now wondering if he was part of the confusion with the contact ordering (since I clearly never said I wanted three different prescriptions ordered with 3-month supplies each). I’m literally in the parking lot now collecting myself before going back in to try to advocate for myself to get my contact prescription. This has been awful.

I have gone here for over 10 years. Just had my yearly checkup. Dr. Scott and staff is thorough, helpful, accurate and friendly. The tests before the visit are quick and painless. And love how advanced in technology they are. Dr. Scott is patient and knowledgeable. Wants to know what my needs are for eye wear and care. And the staff to help with finding the right eyewear ( I prefer eye glasses) is amazing! John has helped me for years and truly trust his option and help! I have always been happy with his help and never feel pressured in picking out a pair. Loving my new glasses again! And they are fitted perfectly!

I needed a new eye exam and contact prescription after moving to the area from SC. They got me in quickly and I feel they did a great job - the technology used is newer than other places I've been which is good to see and I felt as though Dr. Kriessler was very thorough - always makes you nervous to hear your prescription changed but he demonstrated my old prescription to the new one and I feel confident it was the right decision. I haven't ordered the contacts yet as I wanted to wear them on my drive home and test them on my computer working all day, but still very happy with my experience.

Great experience every time! Facility is always clean with state of the art technology. Dr. Hartman and the staff (Cheyenne and Marissa) are always polite and kind with exceptional customer service. My appointment starts on time at every visit.
I also like the fact that the prescription is always correct and crystal clear the first time around. Glasses are always received less than 5 days. Overall, it is always a great experience!
