I had a very, very good experience experience at Clarkson Eyecare in Willoughby, due to the professionalism of every member of the Clarkson team. Time was taken with me during my vision check for questions and to discuss changes to my vision. While choosing my new frames, I was not rushed and received real time assistance. I'm looking forward to the receiving and wearing my new eyeglasses. I could not have asked for a more helpful group of professionals working with me during every step of my appointment.

Quick, showed me many affordable options and what exactly my insurance covered. Also didn’t try to up sell. Gave kids exam and told me glasses were not necessary.

I have visited this doctor last year 12/23/19. I had an eye exam and she said that I need medical nescessary eye exam. I went back to her office Feb 14, and I have done contact lens fitting and she order the contact lens for me. After waiting a few months and I have not received the contact lens, I just got a large bill about $1000. I have multiple insurances i.e medical and vision from the UH. After many hours calling customer service and going the office multiple times, they agreed to remove the contact lens charge from the bill. But they were still billing ~500 to me. I keep asking them to bill my vision insurance, and this doctor and its office keep playing games; and I came to the conclusion that they don't want to bill my vision insurance since they will not get as much money as if they bully me. I have reported to the BBB and this issue was not resolved because tthis doctor did not want to cooperate with the BBB. I just got collection bill and they demanding that I pay up for this doctor. The amount of time and resource that I spend to resolve is beyond ~1000. I will just pay off so that my credit report does not get mess up. Stay away from this doctor if you want peace of mind.

All the employees were very nice & helpful. Loved my visit with Jeffrey, Maria & Pam. Bertie was on loan from the Mentor store but she fit right in with the others & was very patient in adjusting my old eyewear & helping me pick out new frames per my new prescription. This was my second visit at this store, when my daughter and I went to pick out glasses they had two ladies from another store due to staffing. The one that waited on me was not very professional and she rushed the visit, which resulted in both me and my daughter's prescription being put in the system incorrectly. My daughter's glasses came back and she could not see out of them, the frame I picked was sent back by the lab because of my prescription being enter wrong as well. Pam and Maria provide excellent customer service, very professional, and makes sure the customer is satisfied with the choice of frame. If these two ladies are not available when you visit run and come back when they are working.

Always receive a caring and thorough eye examination from Dr. Beal and associates. Dr. Beal is always patient and never rushes you through the examination process. Answers any and all questions and the visits are always pleasurable.

The staff is great! Very polite and friendly. Their technology put me at ease. Dr Beal has a fantastic bedside manner and is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I finally have contact lenses that are fantastic for my astigmatism! It was great to order my contact lenses and glasses right there.
