Dr. Darren Hilburn is great. He listens to his patients and takes care of any needs or questions. I recommend any doctor from this office, but I have enjoyed seeing Dr. Hilburn.

The Doctor was very efficient with my husband, she find the best prescription for him, that others didn't. Prices are fair. Leo, the assistant, was very friendly, and help a lot my child choosing his eyeglasses, he is in love with them. We'll be back with my daughter this time.

I’ve been seeing Dr Shields at MyEyeDoctor in Annapolis Town Center for close to 10 years. He is always approachable and good humored while he conducts a very thorough eye exam. He will take the time to discuss any vision concerns. It’s very easy to get a recheck once your glasses are in and a couple times, when my glasses were not perfect, it was easy to get a reorder. There are a usually couple other doctors available, which allows more patients to be seen and gives personality options. However, I appreciate having continuity of care with my medical professionals and always book my exams with Dr Shields but have been seen by his colleagues from time to time, and it’s always a reassuring, professional visit. The support staff are also very professional and friendly. Although Patty left the practice, the other women are just as knowledgeable. The location is well organized, clean and cheerful. The selection of frames is very good, albeit some are rather expensive. The staff will help you find a good looking frame that complements your face and fits your budget and plan. It is so easy to have a great experience at this MyEyeDoctor. I’m so glad a Groupon brought me here years ago when I was between insurance coverage. It’s a plus they are well versed in insurance plan coverage and have actually helped me compare coverage options during a job transfer so I got the best insurance for my needs (the one that covered the most cost!)

I friend recommended Dr. Malone and she was right I had a great experience. The Dr. made sure I understood some commonalities and what to expect. It was quick but I didn’t feel rushed. Very pleasant interaction. I will be recommending to anyone who asks.

While this review is in no way a reflection of Dr. Wilson (because he is phenomenal!) this review is based on how this facility gets away with charging you an arm and a leg. Unless you have met your medical deductible you will pay at least $115 for a routine medical exam (that’s just the exam) - because he’s a “medical specialist” they don’t code routine eye visits as such - they bill it to your medical insurance (not your vision plan.) They do not bother explaining this to you whatsoever (probably because they know how well it will go over.) The front desk people are rude, your glasses will come in VERY late and they take several days to call you back. Hard pass, unfortunately for Dr. Wilson.

Dr. Dougal is fantastic. Everyone in the office is very friendly and sweet. I enjoy getting my eyes check now. It is no longer a chore. I drive all the way from LA to still come here. I Highly Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
