My experience is absolutely wonderful at Century Eye Care. If I can gift Dr.Aghai with a Mercedes, I definitely would be because he gave me my vision back. I recommend him to anyone that has eye disorders or diseases

This is a small family owned company who went above and beyond for me. I called right before closing to see if I could get same day pair of glasses for my son. He lost his glasses and was complaining of headaches while taking the PSSAS. I came with my son’s prescription and they stayed after closing and my son had a pair of glasses within 30 minutes! Thank you again for being so kind and helping us out!

Even though the office was extremely busy on the day of my appointment, LaTrisha greeted me with enthusiasm. I was the last appointment of the evening, and they were short staffed but Amanda and Rachel stayed after the doors were locked to help me find the perfect pairs of glasses. They were both so very helpful, accommodating, and kind.

I feel that the staff develops personal relationships with the patients and the service of care is very good. The staff cares. It’s really hard to get in through the call center. Once in the office, every one is helpful and make sure that you’re getting great service for your eyes.

Doctor Vy Duong is rude and not as friendly. The optometry technician (Thien) at the glasses counter are also rude. Customer standing in front talking to her but her eyes are at somewhere else as if she’s waiting on other people, then she kept on turning around talking and smiling with co-worker, showed no respect for client in front of her.

The experience was good. But I’m most certain they don’t sanitize anything. My daughter had an appointment on Tuesday and Wednesday we realized she was getting eye boogers and reddish eyes. We thought it was just allergies. But nope, comes Thursday & she gets worse so we take her to the Urgent care for kids. She comes back with having severe pink eye on BOTH eyes. Bc they didn’t sanitize the equipment. They just passed it around without anyone sanitizing and putting it on her eyes. I’m very upset & sad my 4 year old has to go through this.

Been going to see Dr Pendergast at Retina Associates for 21 years. Excellent doctor, great office and staff at Westlake location.

I have mixed thoughts about this place. The makeover is indeed gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere is much improved. When I was helped by someone new, I felt she might have needed a bit more training before working on her own. That wasn’t a big problem, though. I was waiting for my glasses and finally saw a text from April—yes, it was June when I picked them up, so that was my oversight. However, I never received any follow-up call or text, which was disappointing. Later, I needed to readjust my glasses because the bifocal was too high. The lady who helped me then was rude, frequently cutting me off and disregarding my prescription for progressive lenses. I was told they could do progressives and remove the bifocal if needed, but instead, my glasses were made into single vision, so now I only have glasses to see up close. When I mentioned that the girl who helped me initially was new, the staff member cut me off, saying she had been there forever. I know this wasn’t true because the girl herself told me she was new. I wasn't trying to be rude nor I did I use a sarcastic tone( which was what I received while I was being cut off along with an eye roll ). I was suggesting that inexperience may have been the reason the bifocal was low. Lets keep in mind I am 55 and I always keep a smile on my face. (we never know how someone else's day is going ) To be clear, everyone else in the office was kind, helpful, and professional. But because of this one negative experience, my personal rating for the whole office dropped two stars. Im updating my review , I was contacted by Jennifer the manager to the office and she will address my issues with the staff member. I am confident that this will not happen to anyone else in the future. I appreciate the quick response and kind words .

Not only did they set me up with the most gorgeous Valentino glasses, but they call to remind me of my appointments, make sure I have enough contacts and fit me in last minute if need be. They’re literally the best! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!
