Had a great experience Steven the manager was fantastic he called me the day before to confirm my appointment and when I came in he helped me picked out two frames. The doctor was so nice and funny.

This morning, my ophthalmologist, Hsu Chu-yun, referred me to Chen Ching-yang's clinic. The vision tester there was very rude. When she asked me questions and I answered them carefully, she became impatient and said, "I need to finish quickly; I have many other patients to test." Then she pressed a lens covering one eye onto my contact lens. I told her not to be so rude, as I have a heart condition and can't tolerate her rough treatment. During the argument, the doctor came out and, without asking why, defended his rude employee. In my nearly 30 years in New York, this is the first time I've encountered such a rude and aggressive clinic staff and doctor. This clinic is untrustworthy, utterly disrespectful, and terrifying. 😱 The vision tester in this clinic is extremely rude. When she asked the patient a question, and the patient answered seriously, she lost her patience and told the patient that she needed to finish as soon as possible because many other patients needed her to do so. Then she rudely hit the shield covering one eye on the patient's glasses lens. Then the patient told her: "I have a heart condition, please don't be so brutal to me." After the doctor came out, he protected the employee without asking why. There was no right or wrong at all. In nearly 30 years in New York, this is the first time I have encountered such a clinic and doctor. They are not trustworthy. This clinic has no respect for elderly patients. Patients feel terrible. 😱

Wow what a great experience here on Staten Island.I would suggest going here for anyone with eye care needs. The employees were super knowledgeable and are licensed optometrists waiting to help you. My family members have been going here for years and now i know why. They are much different then every where else i walked into. Just want to thank them again.

Waited 2 hours. 2 long hours. 2 very long hours. The office was dirty and old and in an old neighborhood. The doctor was dressed not professionally either. Needs work on the professionalism and facility.

Upcode eye exam to a medical exam which triggers a co-pay, charges for retinal photography which is not needed. So the eye exam that my insurance said would be free cost me $99

Such nice people on staff. The doctors are very knowledgeable. They were willing to discuss my vision concerns without regards to how long it took. I will definitely return here.

Been getting my eyes exam since childhood, and my mom n family still ,we go,, it’s a full thorough eye exam, not just give yu lens to see thru,, but diagnose any eye problems, I highly reccomend,

Dr. K is caring and knowledgeable. Really cares about his patients!
