I had the pleasure of visiting this store on Rampart a while back for a lost screw in my frame. The lady was so nice and repaired my frame and sent me on my way. I was so impressed that I went and did my annual check-up after I broke my glasses again. My second visit was just as accommodating, if not more than the first. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Chen. She's a doctor with a down-to-earth personality. I'm happy to have found her. I am a patient for life.

The new renovation looks amazing! Very impressed with how well it was done. I also picked out a new pair of glasses today and noticed they’re carrying many more new frame styles and prestige brands, it was very easy to find something for me. Very happy for doc and team :)

I had been going to Villiage Eycare for some time. I had an appointment for April 4th 2023. That morning, I awoke with a very bad migraine headache, and believed that the migraine would interfere with the evaluation.. I called the office at 8:30 am to reschedule. No call returned. I called later, and rescheduled for April 18th. Surprisingly, they sent a cancellation fee invoice later on the 4th. I called and cancelled the April 18th appointment, and stated that I would not pay the cancellation fee for the 4th. They did not cancel the April 18th appointment and billed me for a second cancellation fee. Do not deal with these people.

Cristina and John are fantastic employees and amazing with kids. They made both of my kids feel very special and especially my daughter getting her first pair of glasses ever.

Our first encounter wasn’t that good. But once we got over our bumpy road, she’s an amazing doctor

First of all, I’m a nurse and very understanding, I NEVER complain and have never written a negative review. I am embarrassed for people that stand there and complain at the desk but OMG!! I scheduled an appointment on line Thursday evening and Friday morning I received a call asking me to sign a release of information from previous exam ( I forgot to do this). I tried to call Saturday morning and got the after hours number, I couldn’t get through. When I arrived the young lady told me that they could not see me without my prior records… Why? What if I had never had an eye exam before, can they not perform their own tests? Apparently not! I had explained to the lady who called me Friday that I needed a thorough eye exam because I was diabetic and needed to be tested for retinopathy. She assured me they could do the testing I needed. Upon arrival Saturday I was told they would not do the exam without my prior records because they could only dilate my eyes, they didn’t have the “machines” needed to perform the testing for diabetes😳. She said they had tried to call me several times to remind me the day before but I had no missed calls or messages on my phone. If I had it would have been my fault, but don’t lie to me. Did I just pay someone to come to my house to take care of my handicapped child and drive 40 minutes because I was mislead into believing they could do a thorough exam for diabetes? Yes, that really just happened. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR EYE HEALTH REALLY TESTED. I think they type up the results from the previous exam. How else would they know what to put if they can only dilate your eyes, they don’t have the “machines” needed for testing. Her words, not mine. The man/assistant/doctor, Idk who he was but he came out and said yes that is correct. SAVE YOUR EYESIGHT, GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

My exam went smoothly and quickly. The optometrist was very personable and patient with me even though we had to repeat some of the components of the exam and tried several pairs of contacts on. She did a fantastic job educating me which was very much appreciated. The staff were all very helpful and professional. I'll definitely continue follow ups there and would recommend to friends and family.

Don’t get lost in details or minor trivial things. As a physician, he takes good care of your eyes. Which is what matters at the end. Unfair people not giving higher ratings. He is old time experienced, excellent doctor
