Lots of praise for this wonderful practice. New to Durham on May 21) and needed to be seen a month later for sudden and new eye problems I was having. Got in quickly to see Dr. Tailor the optometrist, and a week and a half later followed up with Dr. Wrzosek the ophthalmologist who was out of town when I had the emergency. Since then I have had a follow up with Dr. Wrzosek and will be seeing Dr. Tailor next week for refractions for both contacts and glasses. I have already picked out my new frames while waiting to see the doctor, they have a great selection right there in office. The office is clean and Covid protocol safe which I appreciate. The entire front office staff is very friendly and helpful. Appointments run pretty much on time without long waits. Both Dr. Tailor and Dr. Wrzosek are extremely knowledgeable, great listeners, and thorough in their eye examination, and they both are wonderful communicators about my eye condition and also possible treatment plans. I also have high praise for their Ophthalmology Assistants, Amber, Jamie and Courtney (I need to check on the second name and will edit if I have it wrong---, I saw Jamie today). Their optician Jacqueline was also very helpful in my frame selection process.

A friend recommended Hope Vision Care because I wanted to add nose pads to my glasses. I was wonderfully surprised by their quick service but also the quality of their work. And more than that, I was thankful for their great care for me and my glasses. They made sure I left the place feeling good about how they fit me. And Dr Dinh greeted me personally to ensure that I had all my optometry needs met. I will definitely go back and switch over to her as my new optometrist!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Tsai. I was very impressed with his patience and professionalism. He took time to explain everything to me. He gave me my options but did not pressure my decision. I will be having catarac surgery and was overjoyed when I heard that Dr.Tsai will be my surgeon. Roberta Mackiewicz

Gift to our community, that's what this office turned out to be! Busy place too. The intake person was a bit brisk (Not RUDE), but the doctor was GREAT and answered all my questions. Just a really lovely person and NOT my usual experience with doctors. And person who processed the end of my appt also was very thorough and kind. Even the new prescription was picked up at the end of the waiting room was just lovely and answered my questions about getting glasses even though I didn't choose to buy them there. Give yourself the gift of this place and DO NOT WAIT -------- the glasses place specified the problem over FIVE YRS AGO and I've put it off due to fear and being overwhelmed, today finding out IT WAS NO ISSUE for me to deal with other than with drops. I HATE I waited so long. DO NOT WAIT, if you're reading this. Just go.

My experience with Target Optical was great from start to finish. From the moment I called to make an appointment, Angela the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. My Optometrist Helen was also very knowledgeable and friendly. She took the time to make sure that I was comfortable with my prescription and also gave me several options for contacts. Not only did I have a great experience but the pricing for the exams and the frames were much more reasonable than other places! I'll be coming back to Target for all of my Optical needs.

I have post cataract surgery complications: added irritation and bad glare in the IOL eye. I went in for my second consultation and Dr. Sutton's main concerns were making sure that I understood that 1) he had done over 50,000 of these surgeries and 2) mine was fine. Perhaps more telling than anything else was, when I was talking about my post surgery glare, or dysphotopsia, and how bad it was going to be walking out with dilated eyes, he immediately popped on the lights in the exam room at full brightness. I can't say for sure that he enjoyed it when I winced, but it is safe to say that he knew exactly what he was doing.

Customer service was excellent. They were willing to work with me on my insurance and were very patient with me. Overall experience 10/10 will definitely be coming back for more services!!!! Also they have great deals!!

Extremely nice staff. I called to ask if they could fix my glasses (the tiny screw had come out of the hinge). They fixed it free of charge, wiped the lens clean and tightened both screws, and even apologised because the new screw was silver instead of black! They were so nice and welcoming, would definitely recommend coming here.

I decided to try buying at an optometrist's office on a whim. I was discouraged that I would not get as good a value as I would at two facilities where only eyeglasses were sold. I have VSP insurance and was knocked off my feet happy finding a frame and all the "trimmings" for less than I have ever paid anywhere for progressive lenses! Monica was delightful. She delivered excellent knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Each of the associates that I encountered, went out of their way to accommodate any requests. Wonderful experience!

Dr. Chow has been my doctor for over ten years. He is great at his job. He replaced my right Cornia. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes.
