1st experience:-
I had a bad experience about front desk stuff really they don’t know their job. About 3 weeks before I called for make appointment they ask me what insurance I have, I provided to them insurance information & they confirmed me insurance is took. One week before they send me link for registration and providing helth information i submitted online form. One day before appointment ,they called me for reminder and told me good to go. I took the day off from my work place I went to the doctor early in the morning 9.30am. I signed the attendees sheet. Front desk lady call me and said we don’t take your insurance.i asked her why you told me know she answer me she don’t get time to call insurance company. I was shocked I ask her what I have to do now. She said you have to pay from your pocket. My eyes was bad condition I have to see doctor. Doctor came, I told him about this matter. Doctor told me “ I’m apologize this is our fault. he was nice to me but front desk lady even never say sorry to me. I pay from my pocket and see the doctor.
2nd experience:-
That day after finished my appointment with doctor. I asked to the front desk same lady I want to make appointment for my Mom and Dad. She asked me same question what insurance they have I provided to her my parents insurance information insurance number first name last name date of birth home address everything she gave one month later appointment I said it’s ok. Today I got voice mail for Monday my parents appointment confirmed call. 30 minutes later i got call again doctor don’t take my parents insurance. I don’t have to say anything to her i just said cancel both appointments.
I just share my experience.
Honestly Doctor is very nice.

I am not giving two stars because of the doctor, he is really cool person but those front desk staff or whoever receive phone call to make appointments are very rude, no manner at all, the way she speaks like she doesn’t want to give you a chance to talk.

Vision sense was a breath of fresh air! My daughter loved the entire experience, from the prizes she won after completing her vision tests to the multitude of glasses she got to choose from. The entire appointment was very well organized, the process thoroughly explained, the office was impeccable and doctors extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office for your eye care needs!

After taking my elderly mom to many eye care centers, I brought her to Vision Sense Eye Center. They were very patient with her during her exam and we were finally able to get a pair of glasses that she was comfortable with. When her … More

This office is deceiving and dishonest. After the appointment ended they charged me $130 for a contact lense test when I specifically asked for a regular eye check up and asked them if there were any fees or copayments. They said no other … More

Dr Hirshfield is experienced and gives details how he is treating. The Nurses all are very nice and knowledgeable. The wait time is reasonable. My only complaint is about the front desk receptionist. Perhaps, she was in bad mood that day When I walked up to her desk. She asked if it was an emergency. I said I called 2 days ago and was given an appointment for 10:45 AM. She ignored it but asked me to explain why I came ? I explained why I had to see the doctor. I am just curious if she was instructed to screen patient even with an appointment. I told her that when I called for appointment, I gave details of medical complaints and asked she should not tell me she did not see the record of my appointment. Then quiet. She did not say anything nor told me to wait. When the next patient came to her, she just told the patient to take a seat and wait. IT WAS RUDE. If I am not mistaken, her name is Katherine. She did not hurt me but damages the clinic image. Everybody makes mistakes, let us give her a chance.

Dr Hirshfield is good, but the workflow in office horrible. unless you have 1st appointment of the day, the waiting just to be called in would be at least 2 hours. then you spend an other 1.5-2 hours inside going form on exam room to an other, waiting, waiting in inside waiting area, waiting outside waiting room. they have a lot of staff there, but its not organized, would take you at least an our to register at front desk. It should not take 4 hours for regular check up exam. We are going there for several years for annual check up, and its getting worse and worse every year . ending up, they "lost" my mother's file (???) and we had to start from beginning again. And now to make appointment, takes like 15 min on phone , the representative who doesn't know office hours, and asking 100 times : are you a new patient?" Again, Dr Hirshfield is great, but the staff are destroying everything.

I had a tear duct infection.
First Visit: waited for one hour to see an incompetent assistant that could not explain anything properly. The doctor said i needed antibiotics and another appointment. If the condition did not improve in 2 days then he would need to drain the abscess. The doctor was nice but didn't know which medicine to prescribe.Waited another half hour for the prescription. They messed up the prescription and had to call it in again.
Second visit: waited for over two hours and it would have been longer if the lady before me had not left in frustration. Many patients with later appointment went before me. Finally I saw an assistant who was more competent and informed me that the doctor would go through with the procedure - even though he didn't come to see if it was doing better. Then i waited for another half hour. hen i was brought into a room and put in a reclined chair with my head back. The assistant said he would be right in so i should wait like that. After 20 mins the blood was rushing to my head and i was very uncomfortable. I left the office in frustration. I called the office IMMEDIATELY after and they would not let me speak to the doctor. They said he had left for the day, which is impossible because there were still patients there when i left and he was about to see me for a procedure.
DON'T USE THIS OVERBOOKED MONEYHUNGRY DOCTOR WITH TERRIBLE ASSISTANTS!

Dr. Sophia Siu was great and very professional. Knowledgeable and patiently explained all the medical words and many questions. The office is super clean with all the latest technology and diagnostic equipments. Supported by her friendly and enthusiastic staff. Best of all; the appointment was completed in less than 45 minutes. The only suggestion would be a higher mounted bathroom sink.

Great experience! Was traveling in town and had an issue with my eye. They had walk-in availability same day, were able to quickly diagnose the issue, and I was able to pick up my prescription right away. Highly recommend!

Dr Siu saw my wife immediately when we visited and had a very reassuring and calm bedside manner. We were able to get testing the day of our visit and get a diagnosis all in the same day instead of waiting for results like at other providers. Would definitely recommend for any eye related issues
