The staff works so well together and are so helpful when discussing concerns or asking questions. Everyone that works with my son has been so welcoming and supportive. Dr Hillier and Dr Jay are so insightful. My son is doing so much better since coming to see Dr Hillier.

Went in to Salem Eye Clinic for the first time, and can say I am very pleased with my experience. Dr. Brown made me feel welcome, and was very friendly. Made me laugh a couple of times, and was able to come up with a prescription that would work best for me. Jason is super nice and also will give you amazing service with finding the right frames for you. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

At my exam they told me my prescription was half the number it had been for the past 20 years, and they had me come back in 2 weeks and pay $65 to try contacts with the new prescription. When I obviously couldn't see nearly as well with them, the doctor shrugged and asked me if I just wanted to order contacts in my old prescription. Please don't waste your time and money.

Dr. Oku is amazing! She is kind, thorough, and makes eye appointments way more enjoyable than they have any right to be. She explains everything clearly, answers all my questions, and somehow makes getting your eyes checked feel relaxing instead of awkward. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and wants the best for them. Plus, thanks to her, I can confidently say I’m seeing life a little more clearly now 😄 Highly recommend Dr. Oku to anyone looking for a great eye doctor!

Consistent Frustrating Experience - Excessive Wait Times at Optometry Office Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently visited the specialty eye MD Optometry Office, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing more than three times I took my mother here. The consistently excessive wait times at this practice have compelled me to share my negative review. On multiple occasions, I arrived promptly for my scheduled appointment, expecting to receive timely and efficient service. Unfortunately, this optometry office has a consistent pattern of making its patients wait well over an hour. First two visits were far over 2 hours and third 50 minutes of wait. It is beyond frustrating to allocate valuable time out of my busy schedule only to be left sitting in the waiting area, twiddling my thumbs. I believe the doctor has given guidance to the admin staff to do this intentionally in order to cram as many patients to maximize profits as a business practice What makes matters worse is the complete lack of communication from the staff regarding delays. Moreover, not one person is truly aware of what is going on. Each staff blames the other with false reassurces to fox the problem. There is no transparency or acknowledgment of the fact that patients' time is being wasted. It is disheartening to see how patients are treated in their post operation visit. Aside from the excessive wait times, the overall level of service at speciality Eye MD Optometry Office is also subpar. The staff members often appear rushed and disinterested in providing personalized care. It feels as though they prioritize quantity over quality, rushing through. I recommend you report this to Board of Professionals if this happens to you as well.

I had a great experience at vision institute. Staff was very friendly when I walked in. I was greeted with a friendly smile. After being taken back it was a very thorough exam and I felt like I was being taken care of. Upon the doctor coming in; he was very polite. Introduce himself and talked to me; asking questions, doing some examining, and in the end he wanted to know if I had questions. Very thorough and in the room to help me. The whole staff was wonderful.
