I had a wonderful experience! All the staff were friendly. I did the tele Med eye exam. Everything went smoothly and Michael helped me pick out the perfect frames. This is year two having Michael and he doesn’t disappoint! Thanks Michael!

Woke up at 2am with the driest eyeball imaginable. Feeling like I had something adhered to my eyeball like lint. Queue 3pm and I am trying to work functionally with serious eye pain (think sand in your eye) and one eye closed while … More

I am very happy with my recent visits to Invision Optometry. I went for an eye exam + contacts and left feeling that I was very well taken care of. Everything from start to finish is very smooth, on time, etc. Dr. Ordonez is top notch in her field, and very personable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Brenda, an assistant who helped me throughout, was so caring and truly made me feel like I mattered in their office. Both of these folks are true assets. 100% will be back.

Dr. Komure has been our family optometrist for decades!
As long as he is in practice, we will be his patients. I’m not sure we could ever replace him. He’s got an awesome personality, awesome office staff and he does such a thorough job.
Several of his staff has been with him for decades. That alone speaks volumes.
I hope he never retires.
Thank you, Doctor for your years of service.

Not too much of a wait past the scheduled time. Appointment was less then an hour of my time.
Edit: 5 ⭐ to 3 ⭐
At the time of appointment the Doctor commented that my lenses should have been made with a medical grade tint to minimize "starburst" coming off the lights of vehicles, traffic and street lights. She explained it was in my last prescription and I told her that the 2 places that filled the script never mentioned it. (EVO on Elmwood and Vision Works on George Urban)!
I tried to get the doctor that saw me on the phone but the person that answered ran interference and said she would connect me to the place that fills the actual scripts.
Turns out because my script expired the only way to get a new script is to go back to Ross Eye & agree to the refraction test $30 that they can write a new one!
And it still wouldn't matter because no one seems to know where to get this medical time... outside of - you guessed it - Ross Eye!
Aaaand You have to travel to Orchard Park location!
I checked with my insurance and they cover it because it's medically necessary. But none of these two places even mentioned that they do not tint lenses.
Money grabs all the way around!

I tried the virtual exam. It was fine and the staff is friendly. However; the optometrist I had regarding my contacts was disappointing. I have a weird prescription so contacts aren’t easy BUT after explaining that the contacts they recommended weren’t working the DO basically gave up on me. It was a waste of $90 for the contact appt. I would have been better off lighting $90 on fire.

Can’t say enough about The Eyeglass Place of Newington. Some of the most knowledgeable, helpful, and honest Opticians I have dealt with. I brought in a pair of glasses that I had purchased from an online shop and wasn’t seeing well out of. Linea went above and beyond to help me figure out the problem, and explain everything so that I could understand it. I actually wound up having them make new lenses for me because I trusted that they would be right. I will be giving them my business from now on and scheduling my eye exams with them as well. If you are in need of a new pair of glasses or new opticians in general, look no further. Thank you ladies!

Every member of the staff was pleasant and efficient. I made new patient appointments for myself and my 2 kids. They had all 3 of us in and out in a very timely manner while still being incredibly thorough and explaining everything to us. My son needed a light prescription for glasses. The doctor told us that, although we could get the glasses there, it was our prescription and we could feel free to take it with us to shop around. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy there whatsoever, although we did end up purchasing from them because my son found a pair of frames he really liked and I thought the prices were extremely reasonable. We had a great experience and will definitely continue to use Furey Family Eyecare.
