The young lady at the retail store went out of her way to help me. She also was very friendly, polite, and very professional. She was very knowledgeable about the glasses, specials, and helping me with my insurance. Overall it was an excellent experience in comparison to other locations.

DO NOT SCHEDULE WEEKEND APPTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE IT CANCELLED. My appointment was cancelled less than 2 hours before the scheduled time, one I very much needed. “Doctor Sonja informed staff yesterday he’d be in, and then just decided not to come in today” was what I was told. Way to make a good first impression. So frustrating to have an appointment booked days in advance for it to be canceled DAY OF, especially when I scheduled it because of actual issues I’ve been having. Terrible first impression!
EDIT- my appointment was now cancelled a second time in a row. Apparently this doctor just does not come in most weekends, but the staff is required to keep his books open. I will be filing an official complaint with the medical board and with LensCrafters. It’s unfortunate that this doctor is associated with LensCrafters because it makes them look bad when it is FULLY the doctor saying he doesn’t want to come in on weekends, but the staff said they are required by law to keep his books pen. This doctor needs to be fired. I give up on having an appointment here and will be looking elsewhere. I suggest anyone else actually wanting to get their eyes checked find somewhere else, with a doctor who cares about their patients. Dr Patel should be ashamed of himself and LensCrafters should be ashamed to employee someone who doesn’t care enough to come in.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a great experience it is worth sharing. I have a small face, and wear progressive lenses, so it is always hard for me to pick out frames. I need something large enough to have enough surface area for distance and near vision, yet small enough not to overwhelm my face. The staff at LensCrafters understood my needs, and were very patient helping me pick out frames. I had three different staff members assist me. They were all very professional, kind, friendly and patient. They made my experience very pleasant. In the end, I found something I am very happy with. I will definitely be returning yo LensCrafters in the future!

The staff I encountered at HLC was absolutely amazing. Dr. Ramsey was not. I walked in expecting to come out with a yes or no on whether I was a candidate for lasik or prk but I walked out on the verge of tears with an unexpected diagnosis. The diagnosis itself wasn’t the cause for my upset as much as it was the way Dr. Ramsey presented the information to me and how he treated me during his portion of the pre-op dilation exam. While I believe he’s a very knowledgable, proficient doctor, he came off as arrogant and egotistical.

I did Lasik with Dr. Ramsey and had the best experience. The office staff, especially Christy and Lisa, were extremely patient and helpful, and Dr. Ramsey was born to help people in this way. My procedure was very quick, I experienced no pain, and I woke up the next day with 20/15 vision. This was one of the best investments I’ve ever made in myself -Alison Dennis

I have had a wonderful experience with Huntsville Laser Center. Huge shoutout to the staff who treats me like family! Lisa and Christy are very fun to be around and helpful with any questions I ever have. Dr. Ramsey completed PRK on my eyes six weeks ago and I’m literally seeing 2020 this year!! I highly recommend.

Don’t know if Dr Stevens is a great doctor or not but his staff is surely rude and uncooperative. It is impossible to get a new patient appointment without “records” and the staff is totally unwilling to assist in the records transfer. When I asked for an appointment with one of the groups general ophthalmologists in order to get a “referral’ to Dr. Steven’s I was refused that also. When I asked to speak to the office manager I was always told she wasn’t there and my messages to her were never returned. After repeatedly calling asking about the status of my records transfer or their assistance in getting them the office manager “Tammy” was suddenly there and called me back.. She told me I was rude and to go find another doctor. That turned out to be great advice and well deserving of a one star review. Otherwise I would have to give a zero star review.

First time here. I got here on time for my appointment scheduled for 1pm. At 1:25p I still wasn’t seen or spoken to other than when I checked in. I had to get back to work. As I walked up to the front desk to let them know I was leaving is when I noticed the “please be patient with us” sign. I felt bad but also think that the information about starting a new system and having 2 brand new employees should have been verbally passed on to patients checking in. I had no time to wait and could have rescheduled ASAP instead of sitting there for almost 30 minutes. Also all of the lights are off in the waiting room, and it’s already an uninviting atmosphere. It was really wierd. I’ll be going somewhere else that’s quicker and has better customer service.
