We came here because we have eyemed insurance. They are on 2nd floor by Macy's. Everyone is super nice. Decent selection. In some cases their "deals" were better than using my insurance. They aren't super cheap, but not outrageous either. We had our glasses in about 10 days. We got glasses for the family and prescription Oakley sunglasses for my husband. Very happy with our experience here.

I am Dr Wing patient around twenty years. Grat doctor and staff.

After my eye exam, I returned for a contact lens exam since Dr. Le informed me there were options to be able to see with contacts despite having astigmatism and wearing progressive lenses. By the third and last visit he was unable to find a pair of contacts that I could drive with or read with. So he stated I needed to wear this pair I was totally disoriented wearing and he prescribed two separate prescriptions for glasses for distance and reading to use with the contacts and said this was the best I could get. So I gave up on contacts. Then a change in insurance led me to go to Nationwide doctor who amazingly was able to give me the very first pair of contacts on visit one I could both read, drive and not feel any disorientation wearing. Why couldn't Dr. Le get me a correct pair at all? I requested a refund and even sent him the Nationwide info to prove that I could successfully wear a pair of contacts without glasses that met all my needs. Of course, he never responded!

The only reason it's 2 stars instead of 0 is because they were kind and polite my child is a little bit of a hard patient they were calm and collected with him. However, he had an astigmatism they said it will correct it self if it gets worse bring him back if not see you in a year. A year later we come back same thing it got a little worse but again we just got the "it will correct itself we will worry when he has a lazy eye" he has had a lazy eye since he was two their response to that was it's nothing to worry about. Found a different eye doctor that did a thorough exam on him, he now has glasses coming in next week. Do not recommend.

I've been going to Dr. Uyeda since 1985. I recommended him to all my co-workers. They all agreed it's worth the drive where ever you live. One coworker drove from Long Beach just to see him. They were very satisfied. Another coworker said she couldn't believe he didn't try to sell her new glasses when she didn't need them. He is very honest, caring and knowledgeable. I recently went to see him for my yearly checkup, I didn't need new glasses. I asked him if he was going to retire soon, he said no. I was thrilled, I don't want to go anywhere else.

I have Medi-Cal and needed glasses that I could actually see well with. My previous eye doctor was not thorough and my glasses made my eyes so tired trying to read that my friend referred me to Dr. Butler. My exam was quick and he was very personable and friendly. He explained things in a way I could understand. He dialed me in and I have 20/20 vision now with my new glasses. I forgot what it was like to see clearly for 5 years because of incompetence at the clinic I went to before. I recommend Dr. Butler to everyone! Thank you Dr. Butler! I love my new glasses! I can actually see the stars in the sky now!
