I really love this place - the staff is friendly, they get you in and out quickly and make it fun. Dr. Hunyady makes sure you know what's going on with your eyes and answers any questions you may have. I love that you have the option to not dilate these days. I also take my 8 year old son here and they are wonderful with children. Definitely recommend!

Love this practice. All the staff are very pleasant and Dr Neal is fantastic. We started going there for our kids based on high recommendation from colleagues and very pleased. Care for all of us has been excellent and personal. Highly recommend!

The Haug's are amazing people. Very caring. Listeners who take your concerns seriously and know what they're doing when it comes to treating your eyes. Highly recommended.

I do not recommend Dr. Bratton if you are taking your children for an exam as she is not patient with kids and gets irritated fast.
I took my toddler for an exam and she made a very rude comment about him maybe having “autism” just because he wouldn’t sit still in my lap. Which made me feel bad.

Dr. Huynh was amazing! He was very thorough, so knowledgeable, and so very friendly. He tested everything, took every detail into consideration, answered every question I had, and gave me choices based on his professional experience. I was wearing my first ever pair or contacts by the end of the appointment. I definitely recommend him.

One star is generous for the growing number of negative reviews for this location. I just received a call canceling my child's appointment for 8am tomorrow morning due to doctor illness. This is an appointment made as a follow-up to our last appointment 6 months ago. This follow-up was requested by the doctor in order to monitor a worsening condition-a condition that continues to deteriorate. If I wait for my child to be seen by this office, and the physician my child has established care with, we will have to wait until November as that is their earliest appointment. This is unacceptable and clearly part of the reason many people seek care across all specializations for their children outside of Mary Bridge (also probably why Seattle Children's chooses to advertise in the neighborhoods surrounding Mary Bridge). I would like to maintain continuity in my child's care, however, with their worsening eye health I feel that it is detrimental to find a more professional and accessible option. This is clearly a trend with this corner of the Mary Bridge/MultiCare world. I encourage others to seek eye care elsewhere if you have the option-which I realize many do not.

The eye Dr. was very rude and unprofessional. Asked afterwards if I could verify her prescription because wasn’t sure what exactly her handwriting was and she got an immediate bad attitude. She said it was already verified as i had asked … More

Ines is one of the rudest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Needs better and nicer staff who actually know what they’re doing

Let’s send some love and appreciation to the amazing Dr. Uchio, who led my dad’s eye care from beginning to end with professionalism and compassion. His expertise made all the difference, and we’re truly grateful.
On the other hand, I feel it’s important to acknowledge the experience we had with Celene, the treatment coordinator. While I wish I could speak as positively about her as I do about Dr. Uchio, our experience was unfortunately the opposite. Her approach to patient care was not only lacking but, at times, deeply frustrating.
Here are a few issues we encountered:
• Careless: She seemed unconcerned with recommending the best options for my dad’s eye health.
• Biased: Her willingness to assist appeared to depend more on how services were being paid for than on what was best for the patient.
• Impolite: She repeatedly called regarding payment but offered no guidance or support on how to complete the process.
If you’re ever asked to wait for her or referred to her for help, I strongly recommend asking for another coordinator.
Side note: It’s ironic how someone with such a disregard for detail ended up in a role that requires so much of it. (And frankly, the quality of her cosmetic decisions seems to reflect that as well.)
Lastly, if you try to escalate concerns to management, don’t expect much. You might get a call weeks later only to be told that she’s a top employee with a wall of awards — which, sadly, says more about their internal standards than anything else.
