Sneaky tactics, terrible service. I recently moved to the area and needed a new eye Dr and to order contacts. My insurance company listed this place as "full service," and when I called, I confirmed that I could do my eye exam, contact fitting, and order contacts and my insurance was taken there. Well, halfway through the exam, the Dr told me he doesn't take my insurance for contact fittings (he said because it's not worth it for him), despite me paying more for a plan that includes fittings. Now I can't get a fitting without a new exam which my insurance won't pay for since it was charged here for the year. I thought, well, at least I have a $200 allowance for glasses, maybe I can use that this year. Pearle vision frames start at $200, and then the lenses would be an additional $200 or so for basic single correction. No thanks. A side note, the Dr was pretty wacky. He made me a little uncomfortable a few times with the topics he decided to bring up as casual conversation. I could have looked past it had I gotten good service, but just something to be aware of.

I recently underwent cataract surgeries in both my eyes (2 weeks apart). I am thrilled with the results. My eyesight went from blurry to amazing 20/20 vision. Although the skill and success of the surgery is very much appreciated, the purpose of this review is to give Dr. Meskin the recognition as an outstanding person. He provided courtesy, kindness, compassion, and caring sevice from my first visit to the last post-op check-up. He spent a great deal of time explaining the procedure, answered many questions, and gave me the secure feeling that was needed for me to proceed with the surgery. Dr. Meskin and his organization has been nothing but wonderful. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. My entire experience not only met but far exceeded all my expectations. Their willingness to answer my questions & their timely follow-up, has been phenomenal. It’s easy to see why Dr. Meskin is so highly sought after and is considered one of the best in his field. I can not say enough good things about him and his staff. He explained the procedure, the recovery & expectations in great detail. He made me feel I was safe and in perfect hands for the surgery. I would give Dr. Meskin and his team gold stars and recommend them to anyone who needs cataract surgery or other eye procedures and treatments he offers. Excellent experience all around. A very pleasant and knowledgeable eye surgeon. He took his time at every appointment, answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. I never felt rushed. Best of all, the results could not have been better. He explained exactly what results I could expect and he was spot on. My cataract surgery was slightly more complicated than most and I am so pleased with how well both eyes turned out. Having this surgery has really changed my life, I had struggled with my vision for so many years. Thank you, Dr. Meskin. I'd give you 10 stars if I could.

In October 2019 I had cataract removal surgery on both of my eyes. The first surgery was October 2 and the second October 16. Both surgeries were performed b Dr. Seth W. Meskin. Before a procedure like this is done you have tests and appointments with Dr Meskin to explain what needs to be done and how he will help you get the best vision you can. He takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns and answers so you understand. This relieved some of my anxiety about surgery. Allowed me to get to know the doctor a little bit. After having the surgeries, I find Dr Meskin to be a very good doctor who accomplished what he said he would do. My eyesight is amazing now. I do have to say each doctor, nurse and employee who works at Eye Physicians & Surgeons and The Surgical Center has always been outstanding and continues to do so.

Very friendly and professional atmosphere, well dressed and very cool Doc. Love the name and logo, digital reminders are super nice and love the ease of doing business thru text and email. They cater to the client and not the other way around. Totally worth the drive from Hamden for the better service.

Was running late to my appointment, arrived within the 10 minute “grace period” time. Both receptionist were currently on the phone & did not check me in yet as they were busy. I was rudely approached my another staff member telling me I needed to reschedule my appointment even though i was there within the 10 minutes. A complete waste of my time, I also called to inform I was running a few minutes late. I have been coming here for years & have never experienced treatment like this. I now have to wait almost a month until my next appointment.

Friendly staff, thorough and professional Dr. They were not pushy or try to sell me on glasses and explained any exams which were not covered by my insurance. The office is bright, welcoming and clean. Definitely recommended!

I hadn't been in to Park Lane since 2017 or so. Since it's been 5 years, I decided to make an appointment so that I can get a new pair of glasses. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover my appointment, but they told me that ahead of time, along with the price the visit will cost me out of pocket. I agreed. After going in and having my eyes checked out (a very pleasant visit where I felt comfortable at all steps), Dr. Roberts helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. Everything is normal, like other eye centers, right? Here's the kicker. He decides to make the final price of my visit along with my new glasses exactly the same as it was 5 years ago. Exactly the same. Even with different insurance, different glasses, and everything costing more right now. Same exact price. I can't express how amazed I am by a small business with a wonderful Doctor who is so caring about his patients that he would ensure that I pay no more now than I did 5 years ago. If you can, please support this small business. Dr. Roberts is just wonderful, and I hope he stays around for many more years to come.

I've met Dr. Roberts and John from around town and didn't think twice about using them for my eye care. Dr. Roberts was the first doctor that I've seen as an adult and it was a great experience. He was kind and very thorough during the exam and walked me through all the steps. John is a very direct, to the point kind of guy, and I appreciated his assertiveness when I needed help picking out frames. Both of these professionals were so kind and generous to me. I picked up my new glasses days after the appointment and couldn't be happier.

My family of 5 plus my granny and aunt have been patients of Dr. Loucopoulos for over 15 years. We highly recommend him. He not only examines our eyes but is interested in our whole body health. The staff is great. We've had a lot of trouble with our dog, Chachi eating our glasses. Luckily, the frames and lenses were covered by the warantee. The staff and the doctor are so kind and professional. The office is immaculate and has a great atmosphere.
