We had a good experience overall. The wait times for a rather long during our first appointment. The second appointment was much better. My dad had an eye injection to help his macular degeneration, my request would be that they offer a hard, clear plastic eyepatch to help him from touching his for three days after the procedure, other than that we were pleased.

If I could give Dr. Allen Barber and his assistant Destiny 5 golden stars, I would. But sadly I will be giving this place 1 sad star. Dr. Barber has always been a doctor to answer your questions. He thorough with the exam and answers all of my questions. His assistant Destiny was very kind and has exceptional people skills. She made my experience better. However. My one star will be coming from the older lady receptionist with the short dark hair. Very rude from the beginning. Evey question she asked was with frustration as if she hated her job. From the first to last interaction, it was filled with nothing but attitude and disrespect. I will not interact with her again. It’s to the point that I am using my Husbands Account because I don’t want my eye care to be sabotaged. Very disappointed in the disrespect I got from that receptionist.
UPDATE * I called to ask an insurance question and to find her name. Her name is Kity. Unless there are multiple receptionist with short hair and that kind of attitude.

Dr Barber and Julie were very helpful. I appreciate that I was seen a little early since the patient before me had not arrived and I was early. Love the new machine so I didn’t need to be dilated. I was able to choose possible options for my treatment

Always professional & nice! I really like Dr. Barber and all his associates, especially Julie. So friendly and thorough. Also front desk employees are so welcoming and get you checked in promptly. Recommend to all my family and friends

I was impressed how quick they were to see me for my appointment. The tests for glaucoma and the photo picture of my eyes were very easy without dilation. The Optometrist was very friendly and did a great job testing my vision, and interpretating the results of my retinal picture. I think if he noticed a problem he would have referred me.The receptionist was very involved in helping me choose new eyeglasses, and cost.

I went in today for just a contact lens exam and hoping to get another appt for new glasses BUT they informed me that I didn't have to and that I could do both at the same time! I was delighted to hear that! The Dr was super sweet as was the entire staff. They were kind and very informative every step of the way. Especially Josh, he went way above and beyond to help me out. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a great place to get glasses and/or contacts!!!
The reviews saying that the people here are rude are absolutely wrong. My guess is the people who had a "bad" experience were the rude ones. Treat people how you would want to be treated, that's all I'm saying.

Dr. Vaskey is wonderful! So patient and pleasant. The receptionist is very nice as well and overall pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this office.

Dr. Vaske was very good and he listened to all of my concerns. I learned about a few things I never knew and was never told from my previous eye doctor. Thanks for a great experience.

I’ve been a patient of Vaske Vision Care for over five years now, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is searching for a highly skilled, affordable optometry practice. Dr. Vaske is up to date on the latest developments in his field, he’s an excellent communicator and genuinely cares about my sight. Convenient Saturday hours, great location and the office is organized and runs well. A++

Never has I ever had such poor customer service. Had an appointment in July of 2022 and just got hit with a bill last week. I have health insurance and they took my information at my appointment but apparently just never processed it till now. The whole time I was under the impression that this had been handled and paid by my insurance. I was wrong. They never called me to let me know that there was a problem with billing or anything. NO CONTACT from them AT ALL! Just blindsided. Even after talking to them on the phone, no help, no reasonable explanation. I got all kinds of different stories. I got told that they were not in network (I mean that's the first thing I ask when I make an appointment), then I got another story telling me that they are in network.... What's the deal?
