Don’t recommend using these guys to fill/refill contact lenses. I’m in week 4 now waiting. For as many lenses as KP buys, you’d think KP could command better performance from their contact lens suppliers.
Edit:recent refill order only took one week as promised.

Today was my first appointment and everyone was SO NICE. I arrived 30 mins early to my appointment since I finished my dogs vet appt early. But it made more sense for me to come here Instead of driving home and running into the chance that I'll be late. They were nice to welcome me in I got to complete the patient forms and do the pre-screening. I had questions about what each equipment does and they were so nice to explain what it did. I don't know about you but I remembered as a kid I was always so curious like why am I looking at a hot air balloon or press button when I see the black squiggly line. So now that I'm in my early thirties my curiosity has been answered hahah
Okay moving onto the meeting Dr. Bladh. He has a good sense of humor and doesn't make you feel bad if your eyesight isn't the best. I kept asking am I going blind? Because the previous place I went to (ahem) Costco -.- made me feel I was losing might sight. But he said a lot of people would trade spots with you. So I was like whew I'm still good. He didn't treat me any different since I have medi-cal vision. Still gave excellent care. There were a few times where I had to ask him to go between 1st and 2nd option just so I know I was making sure I'm selecting the right one for me. As I mentioned previously my experience at Costco has traumatized me. Because that doctor would be like hurry up I have other patients to see just pick one it's all the same. So you can imagine when I saw we were moving onto that part of the exam I got so nervous. But Dr. Bladh was so nice! He let me take my time to focus and make sure I'm telling him which options was more clear for my vision. We chatted a little bit afterwards so I felt like he cared and wasn't rushing off to see the next patient.
I forgot the name of the lady who helped me, SORRYYYY!!! But you were soooooooooooo NICE!!!! Like I felt she really cared about the patients. She gave you a warm vibe and provided me information regarding my coverage. Such as with medi-cal they have a wall of frames you can pick out thats is free at no additional cost. Options weren't bad as you can see I picked the one that gave me Harry Potter vibes. So medi-cal doesn't cover the anti-glare which was $99. She didn't pressure me at all or try to do a sales pitch to get me to add it. But I know as I'm getting older I need to take care of my health and that Includes my eyesight. So I had no problem paying $99 and I get my glasses faster so yay!
Anyways this place is awesome easy to schedule an appointment. They accept medi-cal and they send out appt reminders via text which is helpful especially if you're someone who doesn't answer the phone

The level of customer service and professionalism is top notch here. I felt like everyone had my best interest in mind and supported me from the moment I walked in to picking glasses. The receptionist was so excited to see the glasses and that made me feel so special. Dr Bladh, Melinda, April, all other optical staff and the receptionist ladies are the best of the best! I highly recommend to family and friends.

One stop shop for all your sunglasses and glasses! It’s a one man show and if he has the lens in stock he can make it in 10 minutes! Prices are also affordable! He also speaks Korean, Mandarin and English.

I have been going here for several years now and I am very satisfied with all of the services. After getting new lenses replaced, I can see clear again! Not to mention their prices are much more affordable than other locations. Thank you Mr. Andrew!

I've being coming to this Kaiser for almost 20 years... In the last 5 years it has gotten more crowded, but customer service is at it's best, great MD's btw.

Lines are uber long for pharmacy. Their former OB/GYN didn't tell me she moved facilities, when I made the appointment nor when she moved. Super unprofessional. They also need a separate number from their general one because it did take a while to reach this specific facility. The machine hung up 3 times.
Then it's the 2nd time the receptionists are rude. The first time, my doctor told me I can go in at anytime for a weight check in (thyroid issues) during the day of my appointment (obviously within their operation hours). Apparently it's not a thing and the receptionist wanted me to reschedule. The security guard got a higher up for me and they said they could in fact do what my doctor told me first. I don't get why the receptionist was being difficult.
Today, I had an appointment at 2:50pm for a TB test (ive never had one). I am unable to drive, so I set to order an uber 40 minutes before my appointment to ensure I get in on time. Unfortunately they didn't have enough drivers, but I called Kaiser ahead to let them know if I can still make it and they said yes as long as it was no more than 15 minutes late. I've been waiting for an hour and no ones called my name. I go to the receptionist and she said my only option was to reschedule. I explained what they told me over the phone. She asked me where I was going to get them read. Since I've never had a test before I didn't know what she meant by that so she proceeded to give me their business hours. I asked her what she meant by read and she just kept saying, "you need them read. Where are you going to get them done?" It wasn't until way after she explained what "read" was to me. Honestly I felt like she made me feel stupid based on her tone., even more considering I'd never taken a TB test before and my anxiety made me more nervous. I've never had a receptionist do that. I think if it was an issue to begin with, they should not have told me I can make an appointment for a Friday. Or they could have told me "10 minutes would be too late, let's reschedule." Not let me sit for an hour after they said they could still see me.
Having anxiety, I felt like I had no type of help both times. This location is closer to my home but I think Downey has treated patients better in terms of receptionists. The nurse who did help me was super nice and I'm thankful she took time to see me.
