Took son here 5 months ago and they did not have equipment to look at my son's eye. We had to go to the downtown office to get his eye ultrasound and they told us we would have to go back to the Nexton office to get results. It has been a 6 weeks no returned calls or messages. The only way to get someone to answer is by going to appointments and they hang up on you

0 stars for me. I had an appt with Dr. Tinkler today and had my eyes dilated. This was my first visit to this office after being referred by my neurologist. I have never had my eyes dilated before, so I left my appt and got in my car to drive back to work. On my way to back to work, I almost got into TWO car accidents. You would think they would ask "have you had your eyes dilated before? If not let me tell you how this works". I was not given ANY instructions, or any eye protective wear, nothing! When I called back to inquire as to the proper procedure after my sister and co-workers advised me I should have not been driving under dilation, I was given VERY unprofessional decorum in regards to this issue. I asked to be informed of the outcome of my complaint and was told they could not contact me back in regards due to HIPAA violations. However, I gave my personal info to them not vice versa so there was no violation or potential occurrence of one. I'm stunned and frankly astonished at the fact this happened and the treatment with which I have received especially as I also work in the health care field and was referred by another Doctor. Due to the lack of professional care and consideration by the staff at this office, I will not be returning and I will not be referring anyone to them either.

Went in to make an appointment, first available was for seven days later, perfectly understandable. Presented my insurance and ID when making the appointment. Appointment made and a week goes by, the day before they call to confirm my appointment... Oh and by the way you're out of network so the charge would be significantly higher... Thanks so much for wasting my time and making me wait a week before informing me of this.

The worst!!!! I will never take my daughter to see him again he gave her the WRONG prescription. I took her to another optometrist and she said my daughter didn't even need glasses.

From the time that I walked in I was greeted promptly and taken back immediately. The doctor was excellent and listened to my concerns and explained everything to me. The young lady who helped fit me for glasses was very patient and kind and was able to give me a quote according to my insurance. I had an awesome experience and visit.

Dr Allen along with the staff were amazing! I had the best eye exam ever and I learned so much about my eye health! This was my first time at Pearle Vision…and I will definitely be continuing this business relationship!

I recently scheduled an appointment and had to call to let them know i was going to be late. “Jill” explained to me that I had a 10 minute grace period while actually laughing at me. As i get there, they let me know that the doctor has went on lunch and that I can wait around until 3 to see if they have an opening. It was 11:58. Stick to the Target Optical in West Ashley or Mount Pleasant if you actually want to be respected and treated correctly.

Jill was awesome!! She was oh so helpful picking out frames that looked good on my best friend and getting her prescription faxed over. She was so kind and knowledgeable and made the process so easy. I’ve never seen an optical appointment go by so quickly
