Great first time visit. The office is very clean, the staffs & doctor we’re really nice and attentive. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family. So much better than any previous office I’ve been to in the past.

We had our first appointment this week- everyone was so welcoming and nice. Dr. Sampalis made an awesome connection with my son (video games talk) which made him feel at ease, he hates going to the eye doctor. We picked out frames and are so happy to have a new local optometrist!

I was very welcomed at Atlantic Family Eye Care and everyone was very warm and friendly. I had Dr Brown and she was very sweet and explained everything to me after the exam and explain the new machines to me which I was very grateful for. I would never go to any other eye care after this experience. If you are looking for an Eye Care Center for a good doctor call Atlantic Family Eye Care you won't be sorry.

The staff here is great , I’ve had a few eye doctors throughout the years , I’ve also interacted with many doctors having worked in a nursing home for over 10 years. I would like to mention Dr. April Brown who is my eye doctor here . She is AMAZING !! I have glaucoma and she has explained everything in detail to me . The first person ever to show me the test results on paper. To show where Im loosing vision and how important it is to not forget to put in my drops . She has a plan in place for me to slow the progression of this . She is an absolute delight of a person, not just a doctor but a true lady . Extremely polite, knowledgeable and friendly . There are no words other than thank you to someone who is helping me to not go blind one day . She is a true inspiration. Thank you Dr. Brown !!

Atlantic Eye was very accommodating, working around my schedule and fitting me in as soon as available. The doctor is knowledgeable in what he does. He suggested something totally different than what I was used to for contact lenses and absolutely love them. All of the staff are pleasant, the facility is nice, welcoming, and bright. Glad I made the switch.

*two stars for front desk staff* I have been a patient of Calenda Eye Care for as long as I can remember. The doctors are wonderful. Dr Levin is extremely kind and knowledgeable. Even suggested a specialist to help me with migraines. Front desk staff, aside from Joanne, have been very rude and seem bothered every time I walk in or speak with them on the phone. I overheard them making fun of an elderly patient that one staff member hung up on while waiting for my appointment. As the first interaction with clients, they should be kinder since the front desk staff sets the tone for the office. Staff could benefit from some customer service training.

The most RUDE and ARROGANT receptionists I have ever seen in a medical field. Nasty with patients on the phone and in person. If you are that unhappy with your job, QUIT and go work where you don’t have to be in any type of contact with people. VERY POOR AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. There should be a MINUS STAR Rating. They would be a MINUS 50.

My mother's appointment last year the girls in front were rude she figured ok it's Monday. Then the Drs were the same. Did not offer any explanations. When I made a next year appointment it turned out to be a Monday so I changed it. I just had to cancel the appointment and the answering service again was rude. I have a family issue. Now I have to find a new eye doctor. I truly miss the original Dr Calenda and the ortstaff they were wonderful. You people need to remember you can be heard talking about patients and laughing from the waiting area. Without us where would you be. One less patient So sad.
