The staff is quite friendly and Dr Brett Rhode is fantastic. I've been going to Eye Care Specialists for at least 20+ years now. That should say enough! I like their new location across the street better on 102nd & National. More spacious, more accessible parking!

The staff was very courteous, pleasant and efficient. I was in and out of my exam, with frames picked out and lenses ordered, within an hour. In particular, Shana was very nice and helpful in assisting me in picking out frames that suited my needs (I have a very high prescription and am very nearsighted). After a coupon, this was also by far the most affordable trip to an eye doctor to get new lenses that I've ever experienced. 10/10, would recommend these folks

Every day I am disappointed with the medical care in this country, this clinic only gives you a good service if you have health insurance, that's why when you visit this place you see mostly elderly people, my experience in this place was terrible, first if If you have insurance, they charge you $200 to measure your eyesight. If you don't have insurance, they charge you $100, which at this point, attention drops by 50%, then you go to the store in this place to choose your glasses and crystals and you find another wall, to begin with they make you feel pressured to buy their glasses and not bring your own, they let you bring your own but under a lot of pressure, they tell you that you have to sign a paper where they are not responsible for damages or losses, all this to scare the consumer and in this way achieve their goal (buy what they want, then they want to charge you between $150 and $350 dollars for the crystals, in short, they make it difficult for you from the attention of the receptionists until the end, which is not It is more than the obvious, they do not like to serve you if you do not have medical insurance since they charge the insurers what they want at exorbitant prices and with you a simple person who wants to heal their eyesight at an affordable cost and receive fair treatment and professional, in this place they only care about money and they do everything to get the most out of you, your needs do not matter at all.

We have been going to Optical Associates for many years and have always been very well pleased. Dr Picket is absolutely wonderful! We are more than willing to make the half hour drive to go see him.

I’m writing this review to share a concerning experience my aunt had with Dr. George at Thurman Associates. On Sunday, we took her to the emergency department due to significant eye pain, and she was prescribed an antibiotic. We followed up the next day (Monday) with Dr. George. The visit was extremely brief—about two minutes—and after a quick look, he told her there was nothing wrong, instructed her to stop taking the antibiotic, and said the issue would resolve on its own in a few days. By Friday, her pain had not improved, so we returned for another visit. She saw Dr. George again, and this time he prescribed the same antibiotic he had told her to discontinue earlier in the week. This has been frustrating and concerning. Had she continued the original course of treatment prescribed by the ER, her condition may have improved by now. Instead, she’s still dealing with the same pain and starting over. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options and seek a provider who takes the time to thoroughly evaluate symptoms and provide consistent guidance. No one should have to go through unnecessary pain due to a dismissive experience.

I ordered my contacts (new for eye condition) on April 22 and paid for shipping to be delivered right to my house. It is now May 7 and I have not received them yet. Supposedly they got delivered to the clinic last week and then sent on to my house. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this is a bit long to wait for contacts!!

I first saw dr burkholder in 2013. I had sudden onset on severe eye pain accompanied by redness. She immediately diagnosed my uveitis and suspected underlying autoimmune disease. She was the first doctor I saw and the first to suspect my diagnosis which was confirmed later only after I developed the "hallmark symptoms." I'm so grateful to have met her! She was paramount in my diagnosis and long term treatment. I very highly recommend her for anyone with immune issues or suspected immune issues that affect or can affect the eyes!

Extremely professional and friendly staff, from the wonderful woman at check-in at the front desk to my eye care professional that gave me a very thorough examination with the eye doctor himself. I will be returning to them and staying put, which reminds me, I'm overdue for my next exam and I need to schedule! These folks are indeed most exceptional!

Great first experience with this doctor and the whole team, especially Kevin, who was empathetic, kind, conversational and knowledgeable. Dr. Bamba was thorough and answered all of my questions. Even the front desk staff was exceptionally nice. This was an overall very positive experience, which I cannot always say when visiting a doctor's office.
