Terrible experience at UC emergency room. The staff at the front desk will openly lie about why you are waiting. My mother spent eight hours waiting after experiencing chest pains. This was with them knowing she had experienced a major heart stun September. When I questioned them about the situation they said that they did not have any empty rooms. When they did take my mother back I counted several open rooms. As she was being discharged on the way out the same rooms were empty and there were still multiple people waiting to be seen. Having read other reviews it is apparent UC does not read the reviews or they would change things or they just don’t care.

Parking lot is full of green spaces.. grass and trees everywhere, yet parking is far away from entrance. Worst of all the parking spots are not wide enough. There's barely enough room for a motorcycle to park, yet we drive a minivan. A total waste of a parking lot. Not designed for the patient, just for looks. Very inconsiderate. Even handicap spots are far away, and persons have to cross the three lane driveway to get to front of building, while there's a huge area Infront and along the side of building that's trees and bushes and greenspace. Hospitals should be thinking about the patient and not about landscaping

So, my first time there wasn’t so stellar. I deleted that review after going back for the rescheduled surgery. Mistakes happen sometimes, I understand that. Moving forward, this surgery made up for everything! I cannot say a bad word about anything. The staff had me in my room about twenty minutes after first arriving! The biggest positive was the knowledge they presented. I came in with an anxious mind, that changed after just a little bit of time. The staff, anesthesia dept and surgeon, Doctor S. Gordon, we’re amazing! Their knowledge and thoroughness made me feel at ease. They constantly checked on me and got me everything asked for. The night shift nurse with the southern accent as thick as mine, was so cool! Beyond that, the surgery went quite well. I came in with substantial hearing loss, my quality of life was pretty horrible with that. It’s my first day of recovery and my hearing has already changed so much for the better! I look forward to the next month when everything should be at an optimal level. Thank you again for changing my life for the better! All I have to do is schedule another surgery for my next ear. This next time though, I will come back with confidence in knowing their ability and standards exceeds most other hospitals in this area. Kind regards, ~Shane Gilliam

Had eye exam at first of year and bought my 1st pair of glasses in over 30 years (had lasic surgery). Holly was absolutely great. Helped me find the glasses I needed for A good fit (larger than normal). I was in yesterday for an issue with lenses and Ruthie took great care of me as well. These ladies all work really well together.. I will be back..

I was visiting from Michigan when the screw fell out of my glasses and was lost. I called the office the next morning and asked if they could repair them. They told me to come in and they would take care of them. Boy did they, not only did they replace the screw but, they also made adjustments, tightened, and cleaned them. When I asked what I owed they said it was free. I couldn't walk away without giving them something. Thank you so much for your professionalism and kindness. I really appreciate everything you did to help me!

Just had my yearly eye exam with Dr.Michelle and Mary. They're always so kind and helpful with questions i have. They got me in and out at a timely manner. I've been with them since 2019.

We have been loyal customers for years & love Dr. Glass. However, this year makes me want to find a new place altogether. We have been waiting on trial contacts for 90 days. We have been promised them within the week 3 times now. The office manager, Sarah, couldn’t care less. She has yet to fix a bill from May that she insisted we pay & get refunded. She never follows up. She lacks customer service skills. Nothing is her fault. She is rude. She doesn’t care if you can’t see & need to see to function & do your job. Worst medical care & lack of concern ever.

Extremely satisfied with my experience. They got me an appointment with in two weeks of calling. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of their job. I had a bad experience with my last Optometrist office, so I was very happy to be treated so well with the Fairfield office. They are all truly professional.

Super sweet people! They also got me right in soon as I got there it was like a two minute wait. After my eyes were dialated the lady was nice enough to help me pick out glasses since I couldn’t quite see! I definitely think they are worth going to! 😊 …

Dr Staarmann was wonderful. First time visit for me. However, I am a little disappointed that everything is by appointment. I bought and paid for my contacts and still have to make an appointment to pick them up. They are closed between 12-1:30 for lunch. Pretty inconvenient since my lunch hour is 12-1. I was also told that I have to make an appointment to LOOK at glasses...I'm guessing I might get resistance when I ask for a copy of my prescription so I can go to Lens Crafters to LOOK at glasses because I can go at my own convenience.

I appreciate the detail this practice goes to with eye health issues. The exam is thorough and efficient. Dr. Michelle is very caring and pleasant. They also have well trained opticians to help you choose frames that work with your prescription and look good. I continue to go here even though I no longer work in the neighborhood, but it's worth the drive.
