Hello hello. It has taken a while for me to get used to the fact of getting shots in my eyes. Dr Pendergast has always been very patient with me. Thank goodness. The staff have always been very kind and patient also. And they have always have a pleasant disposition.. smiling and laughing is for me very important . Serious enough to deal with our eyes and still friendly enough to deal with us as people. I'm really glad he also takes the time with the older generation Many elderly people I have seen in and out ot waiting area. Office staff very kind with them

I want to start off on a positive note because the staff carrying the doctors were amazing ... Everyone part of the support staff was kind and patient the moment I walked in. The wait time was surprisingly short (after having the actual doctor's exam I now understand why) I was immediately greeted with warm and friendly smiles from both gals at the desk. The nurse who did my intake was extremely knowledgeable. She was not only caring but took the time to answer any questions I had. She was extremely thorough and prepared me well for the rest of my visit. Even the technician with whom I only spent a few seconds was warm and compassionate while taking my scans. Now the negative ... Dr Pendergast walked into the exam room and introduced himself then immediately took to his computer with his assistant next to him. (both of their backs facing me) After reviewing the chart, scans, and notes he then proceeded to turn off the lights and began the exam. Not one word was spoken to me other than "up-left-right-down" as he shined the light in each eye. During this time I am basically half off the exam chair trying to keep my chin on the chinrest and my head against the bar (apparently comfort is not a concern) He continued ignoring me completely while rattling off medical terms to the assistant. I felt invisible! I felt helpless! I felt extremely nervous and sick to my stomach! I wanted to shout "I am in the room too"! What did those words mean ... I was already a nervous wreck and suffering from anxiety so of course my thoughts were all over the place. Lights on! Dr Pendergast goes back to the computer with his assistant (both of their backs facing me yet again) and enters information in the computer. The doctor finally turns and looks at me and says everything looks fine ... a couple more words and then out of the room he went. Are you kidding me?!? Bedside manner - NONE! We patients exist! My time matters! Show a little care and compassion for those you are treating. I work in the medical field and our patients are treated way better ... they are DOGS & CATS! And I waited 3 months for this appointment?!?! DO BETTER!!!

Dr. Pendergas and the entire staff of Retina Associates deserve a five star rating. They are courteous, professional and caring.

From the time I walked in the door for my blepharoplasty consultation until after my sutures were removed, Dr. Costin and his staff (shout out to Vanessa) made me feel comfortable. It was more like talking to friends! My results are incredible! THANK YOU, Dr. Costin!

I now have been here twice - last time my doc was great. I had less expectations this time because how could it be better. Dr. Sterna and staff exceeded my last visit. To get here, I drive by two other eye docs that would be more convenient but when you find a place like this, doesn't matter how long the drive is. I have already and will continue to recommend Madison Eye care to anybody and everybody.

Fantastic service! The staff was awesome and able to work with my insurance without a problem, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and able to explain everything simply and easily. Everyone there was friendly, and warm.

All the staff are very attentive and care about your experience. Shout out to Dr.Kyle and his office staff. Great experience and I will definitely return.

Dr Rao is caring, always asks if I have questions, and answers all of them. He is excellent at giving eye injections. I never feel anything more that pressure and a small sting. He makes sure that I understand that if I have any even slight changes in my vision I should call immediately to let him know. And the other people I see in his office who prep me each time are excellent too.

The office and personnel are always very courteous and professional, while showing great compassion and care with the patients that they service and advise. Dr. Rao explains the diagnosis and treatment of the condition, answers questions, and helps facilitate the best possible care and outcomes.
