Dr. Rassier and his assistant Sandra are FANTASTIC. I initially wasn’t even going to write this review but something has to be said and potential patients should know. The front desk staff is shockingly rude, disorganized, and passive aggressive. Before you think this is just a rant, let me clarify. Quick background on me: I tend to get along extremely well with my medical practitioners. This isn’t because I’m anything special. This is because I am courteous, friendly, organized, and basically have my s*^t together so I don’t waste their (or my) time. This office generally runs late- as much as 2 1/2 hours. This is actually not a make or break for me if I know it coming in- I’m willing to wait for a fantastic doctor, which Dr. Rassier is. HOWEVER… the front desk staff does not inform anyone when the doctor is running behind. That’s just basic courtesy. But if it were just that, I would not be writing this review. The first time I called to make a contact lens appointment, the front desk staff gave me inaccurate price information. This meant that when I showed up for my appointment, I immediately had to cancel. On the same inquiry phone call, the same employee kept insinuating that I was going to try to avoid paying for the appointment somehow. I recognize that she may have been dealing with a different patient who was trying to do just that but she did not know me and it seems unreasonable to come out of the gate swinging that way. When I was finally able to come in for my lens fitting, I waited for almost 2 1/2 hours to be seen. When I was led in back, I was then told that I wouldn’t be seen for the very appointment that I made. It turns out that there had been a computer changeover and the front desk had not bothered to look at my appointment in the old system or update it in the new. Ok- I could even forgive that- tech sucks- but then I was accused of dropping the ball by not telling them what my appointment was for (that I made weeks before with one of them on the phone) when I first came in that day. Had they asked when I had arrived, had they said they were dealing with a new system, I would have told them but they did neither. There is absolutely no reason I could have thought she didn’t know what my appointment was for since I made the appointment for that specific purpose, on the phone, with one of them. I’m even one of those people who, had they told me when I made the appointment that I would need to remind them what it was for when I came in, I would have put a note in my calendar. They did nothing and then acted aggressively like I was at fault. I almost left but Dr. Rassier was kind enough to see me and apologized. Fast forward to today. I called to follow up on my prescription and was put on hold for a full 9 minutes at which point I clearly heard the phone cradle picked up and then they hung up on me. I called back and this time I was immediately- and clearly- hung up on with no answer. I frankly find this level of childish behavior inappropriate for any business and I will be taking mine elsewhere. Should Dr. Rassier either leave this clinic or replace this wholly unprofessional front desk staff, I will happily follow him there. He is a delightful and gifted doctor. If you do use his services, know that he’s great… just brace yourself for the ridiculous and unprofessional front of house experience. UPDATE: I had been told by the front desk staff that my preferred contact lens was unavailable from/not made by the manufacturer (Acuvue Oasys with Base Curve 9.0). After my experience with this office, I recently decided to contact the manufacturer to confirm. They make my preferred contact lens and have for years. I ended up going to a different doctor and getting a brand new prescription rather than dealing with this office again.

I went in to get my glasses tightened yesterday, 4/16/22. An elderly gentleman working there charged me 5 dollars to tighten them. He tightened the frame for me but ruined my $480 transition blue light lenses because the machine he used to tighten them ruined them with the heat..... Then he had the audacity to point to a sign that read that they weren't responsible for anything that happens during repairs... At first, I thought I just needed to wipe my glasses with a cloth, but then I noticed that no matter how hard I cleaned them, I still couldn't see clearly. Then I noticed that the lenses were warped....

I got new glasses a few months ago and I still see blurry. I think I see better with my 5 year old glasses. I'm sorry but I think this place is a scam. They are probably trying to make money off people's misery.

I am one that would rather to not give any reviews to avoid posting a negative one but I’ve had it. I’ve been with them for about 10years now because really, my family and I only see them once a year and I don’t like constantly changing these type of doctors/things. The audacity that they have here is insane, from canceling appointments once I’m already there because simply, she (the Dominican lady that runs the front, it’s been 10 years and I’ve have enough conversations with her and she has told me herself) had to go run an errands and didn’t want to miss her bus, to losing my glasses that have been chosen and paid for with a response “oh it happens just pick another one,” to being denied a copy of my child’s prescription because she felt only they needed to have that information, to telling me that I can’t get the date of my child’s follow up visit over the phone and that I had to come in to find out, yet every time I walk in she’s either eating or just sitting there. During my time with them I’ve seen two male doctors and one female doctor, they’ve all been professional and effective. However, she and whoever she trains is bad for business, chasing patients/customers away because she wants to just sit there yelling at everyone. Denying a follow up appointment over the phone in 2022?! Are you out of your mind? Shouldn’t this be more effective than having more people in person when they’re not being seen? I’ve read several other reviews as well as family and friends who’ve left elsewhere because of the same reason m. Terrible and sad I took this long to leave. Not worth the headache, this lady speaks like she wants to attack you every time she has to do some type of work. I hope it gets better for whoever is still with them.

Probably the best service I have experienced with any optic. Quality, price, and timing are excellent. They will advise you, they won't over-charge you, and they will deliver fast. I always take my prescription glasses to them. Not only … More
Every Review metters. See what people say about clinics.
