Best eye place I have been to in a long time. The staff and doctors were extremely nice and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left. I had to go for an eye exam and pick out my glasses and I was in and out in less than an hour. The staff helped me with everything I needed and the doctor made sure I understood what was going on. They said my glasses should arrive in about 7-10 days and then I can go pick them up 100% covered by insurance! No money out of pocket! I thought it was going to be so much more difficult than it was. 5 out of 5 stars, I will definitely be returning!

They’re great! Amazing staff and super quick with glasses and contact orders. My glasses have been giving me a headache and they were super quick to reschedule me to be reassessed. Must recommend for those with eye care needs.

I have been going to the Eastside Eye Physician’s office for many years (actually since they were located in the Professional Building located at St. John Hospital in Detroit). Dr. Krasnick has been my doctor throughout the years and I have always appreciated him and his staff. After being advised for the past two years that I was going to need cataract surgery, the day finally arrived in June 2023. My experience throughout the entire process was wonderful. All available options were explained, which aided me in making the right decision on what was the best implant for me. The surgical center staff was exceptional and hats off for their professionalism and kindness. Dr. Krasnick did a wonderful job and I am completely satisfied with the results. Also, a shout-out to Dr. Clune, who filled in for one of my post-op office visits. I would suggest to everyone who is seeking a good ophthalmologist, to look no further than to East Side Eye Physicians!

If you’re looking for a talented Ophthalmologist - Dr. Neal Krasnick and his remarkable staff at Eastside Eye Physicians in Saint Clair Shores are it. My eyesight had been deteriorating for some time, Dr. Krasnick discovered Cataracts in both eyes and performed the pain free surgery’s - my eye sight is now better than EVER!!! No more struggling through foggy vision or vehicle headlights appearing like everyone has their high beams on. I was not expecting the process to go as smooth as it did, the team was always there with patients and caring support, their professional attention to detail was paramount. Dr. Krasnick is a very supportive, caring, gifted surgeon, and thorough when explaining the process, this is apparent by him being named a “Top Doc” in ophthalmology multiple times by Hour Magazine. I highly recommend Ophthalmologist - Dr. Neal Krasnick, I could not imagine going anywhere else.

Couldn't be happier with my visit to the optometrist today, and a big part of that was due to the exceptional receptionist. She was professional, yet welcoming and kind, going above and beyond to make my experience smooth and comfortable. She promptly scheduled me in with my preferred doctor, patiently answered all my queries, and even ensured I was paired with my favorite clinical assistant. But her thoughtfulness didn't end there - she also took the initiative to look up my local CVS for me. It's this level of dedication and personal touch that truly makes a difference. Thank you!

I found Normandy Optical through a quick search when my mom was experiencing a concerning eye issue-she called and the front desk spoke with Dr. Leah who advised her to come in straight away. She did and was met with kind front desk staff, a nurse who eased her worries and Dr. Leah who impressed my mom with a thorough exam. It’s a breath of fresh air to come across caring and kind providers 😊

The office itself is beautiful and clean, the staff is so friendly and helpful. We were in and out with glasses picked out before an hour was up. 10/10 highly recommend!

I saw Dr George in Grosse Pointe. It came to my attention how wonderful I was greeted at check in and the explanation of my visit. I was just as impressed with the care I was given from the nurse that took me back and went over my chart with me. She studied it well and went through my messages and health concerns. She even offered to correct an error on my chart for me. She was so pleasant and displayed a great work ethic. Dr George came in and took the time to break down my health issue. He not only gave his opinion on the matter but explained as to why in much detail. One of the best doctors I have ever visited. So often it seems that good doctors don't always have a good staff supporting them. That was not the case at all with this facility. I left my visit wishing that all Doctor appointments were ran in the same professional manner as this clinic displayed.

A super good doctor, and very nice too. Did a fantastic job removing the excess skin on my eyelids. You can't even see any scares, made the incision in the crease of the lid. I can actually see better, and look a bit younger too!
