Always good care even with previous issue with my eye...dr always thorough and staff great with choices!....highly recommend

I've been going here for years, My children also and I highly recommend Bard optical. The staff is wonderful and so is the eye doctor. I'm on Meridian and they have a great selection and if I didn't like something or they didn't have the frame that my insurance would pay for..(then they have affordable frames that I can purchase out of pocket) When you walk-in, they greet you with a smile and friendly service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Last year my boyfriend went in to get his prescription glasses and contacts. We spent extra money to get thin lenses that were scratch resistant. The lenses he got are fish bowled, extra thick and scratched within the first 24hours with gentle use. He also wanted soft contacts he's use to getting, and they forced him to get hard lenses. My boyfriend works 40-60 hours a week. The ONLY time he's available is on the weekend. But the doctor is NEVER there on the weekend. And so no corrections can be made on the weekend. We put up with it anyways. So flash forward to last week, he tries to order new contacts he NEEDS them for work. He ordered expedited shipping. They deny his order and tell him he HAS to get a different set and tell him that it will take 5-7 days So he says "yes fine but I NEED expedited shipping" they said "Yes okay we can do it" then they charge him, cancel the order again and still don't select expedited shipping. Do NOT go here. I repeat DO NOT go to Bard Optical. They don't want to help, they don't know how to help and are completely useless. We have spent upwards of $1000 out of pocket. And we are constantly given the run around and treated like second class citizens. WALMART has better service. The goat eating your glasses has better service. Please take my advice and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. This place is a joke.

Recently got Lasik done. The staff, especially Susan, were friendly and thoroughly explained the procedure and after care. Doctor walked me through each step and after the procedure gave my wife a detailed play of what he did and the increased bleeding. I am so happy with my results and being able to wake up with 20/20 vision!

The check in staff and eye specialists were great and very friendly. They clearly explained everything really well and answered any questions I had. However, the place where the eyeglasses are, the staff was not helpful or attentive whatsoever and I've had two bad experiences with that particular department. The first time, when I went to pick out a pair, my mom and I had to wait 25 min because the employee wouldn't even acknowledge us while we waited, she was too busy gossiping with another employee. The second time was today 9/14, my mom went in to pick up the glasses and she had to wait another 15-20 minutes bc no one acknowledged her again. Quite unprofessional and rude in my opinion. Would def recommend having your eyes checked but would NOT buy glasses or even look for any there again.

I recently switched eye care providers to the Rock Island Virdi Eye care clinic, and just recently had an eye exam. Although the service was quality for the eye exam, I have to say my experience picking out my lenses was exceptional. It was exceptional because Yolanda, she took the time to help me pick out glasses with her honest opinion and experienced eye. She then proceeded to help me with a payment option that best fit my needs. To top it off, I had some reservations about some day receiving Lasik eye surgery, and she took the time to share her own experience an satisfaction with the process with me. I am a strong believer that good customer service can set a business apart from the competition, and Yolanda did just that!

Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to patient care are truly commendable. My vision has improved dramatically, and I owe it all to this remarkable surgeon and their team.

The staff at ESA is incredible. They are extremely caring and thorough about your eye health. Explanations on options and procedures is well done here. Highly recommend them for any eye care needs, especially LASIK!

Dr Wymore is great! Takes the time to explain and answer any questions you may have. The personnel is always nice.

Great staff! Dr. Sharp is the best! She is good at explaining everything and she's really nice. I have been going here for years. I recommend them to my friends.

I have gone here for the last 3 years and see Dr Sharp. She is kind, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She along with the rest of the office staff are very friendly and helpful. It has has been a present experience each visit.
