I was very unhappy with my whole experience. Not one person I interacted with that worked there cracked a smile. The wait time to see the doctor is unacceptable. While I was in the appointment seeing the doctor my visit was interrupted twice by a colleague. I will not be returning. The one star is only because I was unable to post without clicking one.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Donnenfeld. The procedure was brief and painless. My recovery time was very rapid. Best of all, my clarity of vision is something I have not experienced since I was a kid. Dr. Donnenfeld was very thorough, answered all my questions, and made me very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone needing cataract surgery.

Dr. Donnenfeld has now done lasik for two generations of my family. My father’s procedure was 20+ years ago and mine was this last Friday. He has treated us with the utmost respect and care. Overall, we felt like family during our meetings with him.
After getting lasik done and sleeping for a few hours, it was breathtaking to finally open my eyes and see 20/20. While I did get a scare during my recovery, Dr. Donnenfeld was right there to address it and reassure me that my healing was perfect. I can’t wait to see how my vision improves further as I proceed through my recovery. Thank you Dr. Donnenfeld.

Dr. Donnenfeld removed a cataract in my right eye about 10 years ago. He also corrected my vision which was about 20/400 to better than 20/20.
I do need reading glasses 2.75 but that's a good thing because I do a lot of close up work with power tools and needing reading glasses I never forget to use them. They are my safety glasses.
I had already lost sight in my left eye do to complications from cataract surgery in 1993 so my wife and I were a little worried about the surgery.
We were referred to him by my retina surgeon, Dr Repucci, who had just repaired a tear in my retina of my right eye and told me that the cataract had grown to the size where I would be legally blind.
Dr. Donnfeld made us feel VERY secure about the surgery.
He was right.
I am followed by the retina specialists at the North Port Veterans Hospital. I just had an appointment today and my eye is in perfect condition and it is still 20/20.
I can't say enough good things about him. His staff was great also.

I’ve had great experiences over the years, and never wrote a review, I’ve been going to vision world for about 20 plus years, the customer service is what keeps me coming back and the professionalism. I moved to another state and whenever I’m in the area, this is where I go for my glasses needs for myself and kids. I’ve tried other places and it does not compare, especially with the head guy, I believe his name is Jeff he is so great!

The only place I'll go! I've been going to vision world for my glasses for over a decade now, and I am always totally satisfied with my experience. I always feel well taken care of, the products are amazing, and most importantly, the people are wonderful! Always a great time when I go to get my optical needs taken care of! PS special shout-out to Jeff for always having the most discerning attention to detail, from one stickler to another. 😄

Joshua is a very knowledgeable young man who waited on us. He has great discernment. The first pair he picked for us were perfect. He's very polite and hope he is recognized by the company. He is very patient and recommend him to everyone.
I hope he is getting paid for his talent.

Lady who I spoke to, blond hair, older, had a tone that I didn't like at all. She should learn how to talk to people without being condescending. I regret ever spending money there. I would definitely not recommend to any family or friends of mine.
**Update from new experience recently**
Had Carol help me surprise my mom with her dream eyeglasses. She made the whole process worth it. She genuinely seemed happy to help us throughout the whole process. We had to see the doctor to make sure the prescription was correct due to the last pair that weren't done correctly and they quickly resolved before the new pair came in. Glad I gave them a 2nd chance.

Bought a pair of Cartier glasses, had an issue with them, they said that they cannot fix them, sent them to Cartier , Cartier said that the lenses had to be taken out. Left them returned to pick them up, the glasses were in shambles, torn apart.Luckily Cartier stands by their name and replaced them with a brand new pair. The eye wear was dismantled , when I saw what they did with those glasses, my heart leaped. This company has no respect for its customers. There is someone or an entity in this company that allows this type of behavior by its employees. The fish stinks from the head. I will not purchase any high end product there, they are pirates. This company lacks principle, you should have seen what they did to those pair of Cartier glasses.

The employees are nice, but so is anyone that wants your business, I'll take it either way. But here's my problem, I paid $570 for what I thought was the same quality I get at Pearle for around $400. Unfortunately, Pearle, didn't have frames I liked this time around, so I went to Cohen. Cohen tested my lenses from Pearle that I've worn daily for close to four years. I was told I was getting the same exact lenses. Not so. When I picked up my new glasses, only the center of the lens was correctly focused, once my eyes moved slightly from that focal point, everything became blurred. I had to leave the glasses and come back two more times until they finally told me that they didn't use the same lens I get from Pearle (they used a cheaper lens) and they would have to replace my lenses with the same lenses I get from Pearle, that it would cost me an extra $200 for that type of lens but they weren't going to charge me (like they were doing me some kind of favor after charging me nearly $200 more than Pearle for cheaper lenses). It gets worse, I am a plumber and I've worn my Pearle lenses for nearly four years and never even had a scratch on them, within two weeks of wearing my Cohen prescription glasses, doing the same job I've always done, they already have a nick on the inside of the lens that is annoying my eyesight. Does this mean the quality of lens they gave me is still not up to par with Pearle? I don't know. I'm going to reach out to Cohen and see what they are willing to do for me because this is outrageous.
Update:
I added more stars to my original rating because I received a call from Cohens customer service and the young lady was very nice, apologetic and came to an agreeable resolution with me. I have to say that she was willing to look at all possibilities for rectifying the issue. I am extremely happy with the customer service I received and I raised my star rating because I understand that my experience with Cohen was an individual experience and not indicative of their overall service or customer satisfaction. Thank you Cohen.
Update: I lowered my rating again because after everything described above, I get an invoice from my health insurance that Cohen tried charging them $800 after I originally paid $570 cash and used my union voucher. Luckily, my insurance didn't pay the $800. I can't pass judgment because I don't know how the system works but it just doesn't seem kosher to me and i thought i should share.
