Literally the worst super unprofessional. Appointment was at 1030am .. 12pm im still waiting to see the eye doctor. There is no social distancing in this office, everyone is literally sitting ontop of each other. TERRIBLE. Will never come back here.

An standard appointment was not required. There is a waiting room with a television, restroom and water dispenser. We were able to walk in and see a nurse for an exam and doctor for results all within two hours. There is a large selection of designer glasses being sold in the front of the store. I recommend making an appointment in advance to get seen at Mega Vision. I like the business.

I went there for an eye exam and then had to pick out glasses. All the glasses that they offered that were covered by my insurance were ugly. They show me the more expensive options and I end up picking a nice frame from Versace. The frame end up being around $400 and to install my prescription, It was an extra $200. They ended up telling me that my prescription was very high and in order to thin out my lenses I need to pay an extra $150 ( high index) They said that if I didn’t do this, then my lenses would be very thick and sticking out of my frame. I paid close to $700 for the whole process, just to come home and find out that the glasses aren’t even leveled. Whoever put in my prescription did not even bother to level the frame, they sit completely crooked on my face. I went in a couple of days later to get the glasses leveled, they denied to help me and informed me that they can’t do anything without the doctor. The way the glasses sit on my face has nothing to do with the doctor, the technician could’ve simply fixed it. Additionally, I paid for a Versace brand, but received a Fendi case, it is very unprofessional to replace one brand with another. This happened two years ago and I haven’t been able to wear them since. This place doesn’t really care about the needs of the patient and just tacks on extra fees for the absolute silliest things. The Doctor Who did my exam was perfectly fine but everyone who works at the front desk are only worried about selling their frames.

Initially a pleasant experience. Doctor is friendly and they offer a wonderful display of frames (I did not purchase glasses). The follow through, on the other hand, has been extremely inconvenient at best.
The office is disorganized as they were unable to find my prescription when I came to the office to get it. Was told to expect an email. Ok, that’s fine. Things happen.
Two days later, when I called to check on the email, I was just told they are unable to email me my prescription (huh?), and to come back to the office.
Now, I am told my yearly exam was only for a glasses prescription (I was wearing contacts at the visit). No one asked me if I needed just one or the other. Been wearing contacts for 25 years and have never left with only a glasses prescription.
I can’t help but be extremely frustrated by these inconveniences. For these reasons, I can not recommend this office.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Saleswoman pressured me in the past to order 6 boxes of contacts telling me they have a minimum when ordering (later find out that's not true). Staff did not look up my insurance information properly and had me pay for a contacts exam that was supposed to be covered. Also, I recently moved so I called the store to ask if they would email me my contact lens prescription. An employee took down all my information, told me a manager would be in tomorrow to email it to me. I waited until 3:30PM today and no email. So I called back, spoke to a gentleman who says he doesn't know what happened, takes my info, and says I'll receive an email shortly. I called back at 4:10PM, same gentleman picks up and when I explain what happened, he rudely says he has no idea what I'm talking about. Then, he states they don't email prescriptions at all! Finally, he says he is using his personal email to email me what I assumed was a prescription. I just uploaded the image he sent me to order contacts online, turns out it's not a prescription at all so I'm back to square one.

Original Review Updated; this location is a good location to get your prescription and glasses or contacts. I had a minor complaint, to which the owner responded to clarify the misunderstanding. I was informed about how optical insurance works so it was on me but the owner was real nice about it. My 2 girls did say that the person doing the exam and other staff was extremely nice and courteous, notably so and this is good. I would not hesitate returning to this location with respect to integrity and staff. And I learned a couple things about optical insurance as well.

8 years in New York with over 6 optometrist and hundreds of Pairs of eye glasses from the expensive ones to the cheap ones but never got really satisfied and excited about any of my Eyewear. Been seeing Titchie Sarabia and Station Square Eyes through a very good friend of Mine and I always get jealous because she always wears her prescription glasses like it's always part of her outfit or it's her fashion statement. I would never find fun frames that would suit me anywhere and if I do, they are not able to make my lenses ultra thin because my prescription is quite different. My right vision is way higher than the left so I always end up having a pair of glasses with a thicker lens on my right eye. So I never cared about glasses at all. Till one day I made sure that I paid Titchie a visit and ended up getting these gorgeous 3 pairs of glasses. Not only they are bold, stylish and statement pieces, they met all my needs as far as my prescription is concerned. My first progressive glasses that I am comfortable with believe it or not, (I've tried a couple of times and I ended up not using)
The after care and concer she has is amazing where I would not be able to find elsewhere. Not only did I realize that my Eyewear can now show part of my fun personality and put a statement out there, it can also be fun and I can also have more than 1 pair that I can use depending on the occasion 😉 so next time u are in need of a Special kind of help with your glasses and you want to be different and cool, look for the Exprert and she will guide u on how to look your best with your specs!
I love @Sabine be and Exit (in French) 😅 frames!
Awesome people at this station!

August 16, 2021. A revisit was not a good choice. I had my eyes checked and purchased glasses here two years ago. I found the doctor to be good and the person who assisted with my glasses to be efficient so I went back this year. Wrong move. Everything went swell for my eye check. Staff was courteous. I paid for my glasses IN FULL. I never received a call to pick up my glasses. I stopped in to check 4 weeks later and boom. The first thing they ask is, did I receive a call? The guy checked and glasses were there. I tried them on, he did the eye test, gave me the case and I thanked and preceded on my way (I had my two grand kids in tow). As I’m walking down 71st I hear someone yelling my name, to turn around and find the man saying I did not pay for my glasses left me in shock and embarrassed.
Chased me down like a criminal. Then after a back a forth and payment confirmation from another staff member he offered a shoddy apology while trying to pacify me. He asked for a hug. But What type of foolishness is this? I will never visit this place again, NEVER!

I am a patient of this organization for quite some time now, I’ve gotten two sunglasses and eyeglass from here in the past. However my most recent experience has got to be by far the most disappointing in all my years of dealing with optical organizations. The doctor is amazing however the individual who works on the eyeglass could benefit from additional training. My lense are physically protruding out of the frame as if it’s going to pop out anytime. After noticing it after I picked them up, I immediately when back and an individual states there’s nothing she can do. I can’t simply understand how can an eyeglass place not be able to make the lense properly fit the frames. Perhaps they felt that since it was covered by the insurance and I paid no out of pocket cost, it was okay to not put any effort into the product. The workmanship is very dissatisfying I must say and will not be returning unfortunately.
